And now that fewer people read books the money you have invested takes very long to come back.

I am planning to run a weekly book club in a book cafe near the Banaras Hindu University, in Varanasi. Is there we can collaborate for a monthly/bi-monthly event on books?

After self publishing a couple of books, I understand that writing is probably the easy part. All the other stuff is where the grind starts. Interesting to know of a publisher's grind that I was unaware of.
Chilki, appreciate this however you are missing the point: what you said does not apply to all the publishers. Yes there are challenges you guys face and what we need to do is organize this market. I know it’s tough and easier said than done but it needs revamp. Simply playing
The victim by a publisher or author or anyone won’t help. We need to create an ecosystem that supports this whole industry and more than that helps every partner gain better out of this. #WritingCommmunity #publishing
