How does the iPhone Duo stack up against the already large Pro Max?

I'm trying to figure it out too. I'm intrigued but not sold on it yet. This image helps me make sense of the device a little more.

So maybe the feature isn't that it's "bigger" so much that it's "smaller"? for those (like me) who don't want a Max? How much thicker is Duo?

I don't like how when closed, one side has squared corners and the other side has rounded corners. Very odd. Why is the pen support coming later? They sometimes promise features that never materialise...

even if the width opened is the same, a 16:9 image has more space up and down, which means it won’t have borders on the side, therefore increasing the size.
