I remember when this happened. Kid did not meet weight requirements, and they and the boat didn't have enough people. Boat lifted up, and the boys head got chopped off by the safety cage.
I remember this they, shut down the park tore it all down, it’s all gone. If I remember the designer wasn’t even an engineer…
Wow! So what exactly happened? Did the float catch lift and fly in the air??? So sad
The safety net above the slide decapitated the poor kids when the raft lifted off of the slide.
This was in 2014. They tore down the whole water park and built a Menards on top of it
Why are the parents smiling?!
The parents seemed entirely too happy
The irony is, the dad is a legislator and passed laws the eased the Regulations on ride design in their area where this happened.
