Dr Paul Tungwarara, billionaire businessman, Presidential Investment Adviser and chairman of Prevail Group, is planting potatoes and applying fertiliser by hand in 2026. With all the resources and tenders at his disposal, shouldn’t he be showcasing modern agricultural mechanisation instead? If Vision 2030 means anything, shouldn’t those with the most resources be leading by example rather than glorifying methods that many farmers are trying to move beyond?

Under the Presidential Hospital Rehabilitation Program, our efforts extend far beyond Parirenyatwa Hospital. Major upgrades are also underway at Mbuya Nehanda Hospital—now approximately 70 percent complete—as well as at Sally Mugabe Hospital and Mpilo Hospital. These projects represent some of the most significant investments in Zimbabwe’s public health infrastructure in recent years. According to Dr. Paul Tungwarara, all the hospitals currently under rehabilitation are expected to be completed and officially handed over before the end of this year. This accelerated progress reflects a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery across the country. The ongoing work clearly demonstrates President ED Mnangagwa’s determination to advance the national development agenda and move the country closer to achieving Vision 2030. Strengthening the health sector is a key pillar of that vision, and these rehabilitation projects show tangible progress toward that goal. #CAB3

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy admitted on Laura Kuenssberg that because of their failure to tackle welfare, other government departments will see more cuts in spending to pay for increased Defence spending. How much for Department for Culture, Media and Sport sectors, then, Lisa? How much elsewhere? And her comment about the BBC is bizarre because the government doesn't fund the BBC - other than the World Service. Is that being cut? Most of the BBCs money is from licence fee payers, not government, but then we all know how this government thinks all your money is their money.

How many of you knew this? Dr. Parthasaradhi, MLA from Adoni constituency, Andhra Pradesh, said that there is a provision: if any restoration work is needed for our temples, the villagers need to accumulate 20% of the funds, and the remaining 80% will be provided by the government. All our social media influencers doing amazing work in restoring temples and temple wells should avail this scheme and apply for the 80% funds from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
