🚨 One of the most interesting UFO videos that released by GOV today It's interesting amd shocking how this object intelligently avoids the Wind turbines , not to mentions its speed . Most conventional explanations would be that this is a drone but who am I to tell

What if a network could deliver AI results closer to where data is created, instead of sending it to far‑off data centers? In collaboration with NVIDIA and Decart, we’re making that a reality by bringing GPU‑powered computing to the network edge — closer to homes and businesses — so AI applications respond in real-time. This is how we're laying the foundation for the next generation of AI‑driven services:

BIG NEWS. The Blockworks website has evolved: yesterday we were the home of news, today we are the home of onchain data. Head over to the site to see for yourself, but here's a little snippet of what you can expect: 1. Sector leaderboards (chains, DEXes, borrow lend, DATs, etc...) 2. Comprehensive data dashboards protocols 3. The ability to compare pricing and onchain data easily (coming soon) We're doing this because the industry still has a gigantic data problem. As investors get more sophisticated and fundamentals driven, basic high level facts are no longer sufficient. Investors need to be able to trust the data they are seeing and go much deeper than the surface level info that's available today. Additionally, because many data providers allow companies to essentially self report, you can't trust what you are seeing. This site is our contribution to fixing that problem and to ensuring clear, accurate data for investors. Blockworks is fully dedicated to becoming the most comprehensive data company in crypto in 2026. This is the first of many, many announcements like this this year, stay tuned.

From Osoyoos BC: As you can see, thick smoke is rolling in from the south & the smell of forest fire is strong. This isn't from a fire in Canada, it's from a big fire in Nespelem, Washington state, but we're not complaining. Know why? Because we understand how fire, wind, & the jetstream work. Hoping our southerly neighbors in Washington stay safe & obey evac orders. Prayers up for those in harm's way.

Imagine OptimAI Data Network is a giant library that AI Agents use to learn and work. 📚 But here’s the twist, instead of one person deciding what goes in the library, everyone in our community can help pick, check, and improve the books (data). That’s what OptimAI DataDAO is: + DAO? It stands for "Decentralized Autonomous Organization", fancy words for a club where we all make the rules together, no single boss in charge. Like a playground game where kids vote on the fun! + It’s how we, the community, decide together which data is accurate, useful, and fair for AI to use. + The more you contribute, the stronger our network gets, and the more value we all share. You're building the future! Stay tuned - we’re building something that will change how AI learns. BUIDL with us:

I am posting after a Long Time on Twitter, but its to announce a big change. I have started and we are Collecting Egocentric Data at Scale from India, Covering 300 + Commercial Locations 1500 + Households This is the network and base we have built in just past 2 months, as the Robotics companies, VLMs and World Models increase their requirements on Real World Data collection, Human Loops will be keep scaling out capacity. We are on track to collect 1M Hours of Egocentric in the coming 6 months for our clients exclusively. We are maintaining 95% Quality standards across industrial data and running a End - End Operational Management complying all Indian Laws and compensating our partners/operators. (From Environment sourcing, to hardware, Legal contracts, deployment, training, collection, processing) Check our Samples: - Commercial Videos -- Household Videos --- Multimodel ---- Egocentric + Live Audio Narration Links : On the Journey to become #1 India Physical AI Data Partner. We are also building our capacity as annotation and labelling partner for data companies to become end-end partner for companies. This is a nice bit of insight from England's World Cup camp. At the top level of the game, this is how a player's physical performance data is visualised post-match and used to inform their recovery on MD+1. From what they eat to refuel, to the recovery protocols they choose from in terms of a selection menu: yoga and meditation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, strength training in the gym, etc. And every player produces different datasets so recovery can be individualised. Not every team has the budget for this sort of thing, but the fundamentals are the same - how does your performance data inform what you do next, to prepare for the next training session or game.

It's 2030 and you are reviewing humanoid robots. A Tesla. A Google. An Apple. An OpenAI. A Meta. A Figure. And a bunch of Chinese-made ones. Which one is best, and why? I think the Tesla understands the world much better. Why? There were eight Teslas around me on the freeway today. Start there. No other robot company has that data. But my robot is parked at the local high school twice a day. Its cameras see humans in all of our weirdness. How we move. Where we go. Where we walk. Who we talk with. What you are wearing. Whether your hair was combed this morning. That data will lead to robotics breakthroughs. Apple might keep up with its Vision Pro data, but it is too freaked out by the privacy implications of using said data. (On the front are six cameras and a couple of TOF -- Time Of Flight -- sensors that can see everything in your home in great detail). Google has a lot of data, for sure. All my: 1. Email. 2. Calendars. 3. Photos. 4. TV watching behavior. 5. Contacts. 6. Documents and spreadsheets. 7. Files. 8. Location data. So I expect Google's robot will be attractive to many. But how do you see the others shake out over the next five years? Make some guesses. But remember what an AI pioneer told me years ago about AI: it's all about the data. The Chinese ones have huge advantages: the Chinese have more data on their citizens, and many more citizens to boot AND they can make robots cheaper than we can. But now that you know OpenAI is building its own robot you have caught wind of what I've heard from many in San Francisco and Silicon Valley: that humanoid robots are the real prize of AI and will be highly profitable for those that can make them and find customers willing to buy them. Here, too, I learned long ago never to bet against Elon Musk. Will you?

This Huawei ad I just walked by at Munich airport hit me like a ton of bricks. Huawei watch? HUAWEI HEALTH? Delivering your intimate, real-time location, behavioral & physiological data (heart rate??) directly to the CCP is absolutely insane. I hadn't even considered how many of these watches must be on people hands right now, and how powerful a tool of espionage (the next-level invasive data gathering!) the CCP has at its disposal. Grok, what countries have the biggest usage per capita of huawei watch? Also, considering what I wrote earlier in this post, and given that Huawei is bound by Chinese law to share all data it has access to with the the Chinese government (and not disclose it is doing so), what impact is there for personal privacy and security for users of Huawei watch?

⚠️A POWERFUL Bomb Cyclone is set to slam Europe on Thursday as it tracks through the English Channel, bringing Heavy Snow, Strong Wind, and Rain. 💨 Hurricane force Wind Gusts are possible along parts of the French coast, with wind gusts expected to exceed 70mph as the storm rapidly "bombs out". ❄️ On the back side of the storm, Heavy Snow and Blizzard Conditions could develop across parts of England, as cold air wraps in behind the system and winds absolutely CRANK. ⚠️ This is a high impact, fast moving storm, capable of producing major travel disruptions, power outages, and dangerous conditions across multiple countries. Normally, I stick to US Weather, but this will be a very impactful Storm for our European Brotheren so I thought it was worth covering. Heads up my European Brotheren

🚨 THE BIGGEST BOTTLENECK IN AI ISN'T COMPUTING POWER ANYMORE IT'S MOVING DATA. Instead of laying new cables, Chinese researchers have upgraded existing fiber infrastructure by doing two things at once: Using three wavelength bands (C + L + S) instead of the usual two. Using four cores inside each fiber instead of one. Each core acts like an independent highway, and each band acts like an extra lane on that highway. Together, they’ve reportedly increased transmission capacity per core by nearly 50% and overall data throughput by up to 5×. This matters enormously for AI. Modern AI clusters move terabits of data per second between thousands of GPUs. The biggest bottleneck is often not the chips themselves, but moving data fast enough between them. If you can push 5× more data through the same physical cables, you can train bigger models faster and reduce network congestion. Why this is significant: • It shows multi-core + extended spectrum technology moving from labs into real-world commercial use • The system has already run over 35 km of existing telecom network • It could be especially useful for submarine cables and large-scale data center interconnects • China is also eyeing it for its “Eastern Data, Western Computing” project The deeper implication: We’re reaching the physical limits of how much data we can push through single-core fibers using traditional methods. By combining spatial multiplexing (multiple cores) with spectral multiplexing (more wavelength bands), engineers are finding new ways to keep scaling bandwidth without having to dig up the planet to lay new cables. This kind of breakthrough is quiet but foundational it’s the kind of infrastructure upgrade that will determine how fast AI and cloud computing can actually grow in the coming years. The future of data movement might not require more cables. It might just require smarter ones. How important do you think multi-core and multi-band fiber will be for keeping up with AI’s exploding data demands? Follow for more frontier networking, photonics, and infrastructure technology.

Trend towards some #snow around #Chicago for later Saturday into Sunday is still on the board Now 4 of 5 models put some snow into the area as the monster winter storm passes well to our south Frosty fly in the ointment is the impact of lake effect snow materializing, or not. That’s the difference of a little to 3”, or the 8-9” advertised by the UK model Short range hi res models still 2 days out til we see that, but wording has dropped into the official long range NWS forecast for this chance of snow for the 2nd half of the weekend All of this of course follows our deepest freeze in 7 years that kicks in about midnight Thursday and will get some -30° and dare I say -40° wind chills by sunrise Friday. Talk about model agreement? 14 models all go at least -20°

How this isn’t being covered by our local media is beyond me. How this isn’t NATIONAL NEWS is beyond me. Here you have an entire county, two towns, and a nonprofit suing to protect itself from authoritarian solar overreach out of Albany. This same county, the Town of Glen, and GlenFARMLand also sued a few months ago over Mill Point Solar. That is 7 total lawsuits out of one county in the span of 3 months in an effort to protect itself. Why do we all need to sue? ORES was created in a way where it supersedes local zoning and moratoriums, as well as our home rule that is granted to New York citizens in our state constitution. It does it all to forcibly site wind and solar against the will of the rural residents, town supervisors, and county attorneys. And legacy media wonders why it’s dying in our world today. What a joke.
