How embarrassing. Geraldo Rivera doesn't even know what the 'AR' in AR-15 stands for. Why does Fox News continue to employ him?

Reasons to have an AR15 1) Because you say I don't need one 2) Because an F15 is too expensive 3) Because I'll do what I can with what I have to ensure the security of my family Am I missing anything else? Oh yeah... 4) Because I don't need an f'n reason.

@GeraldoRivera, AR stands for Armalite Rifle. I would be more than happy to show you how to shoot one. Perhaps we can go deer hunting. And BTW, ARs are semi-automatic, not fully automatic. One trigger pull - one bullet.

ArmaLite. Citizens deserve to have access to more powerful weapons than the AR-15. Never owned or fired a gun, but definitely understand and am grateful for the 2nd amendment right.

Just because someone doesn’t know that AR stands for ArmaLite doesn’t mean they are totally wrong to characterize the semi-automatic AR-15 as an assault rifle because in actuality it is very much an assault rifle. It is non-military version of fully automatic AR-10.

I’ve shot 3 deer, more than 15 wild hogs and several coyotes with an AR-15. Trust me they were just as dead as if I shot them with a 308.

It actually is a hunting rifle and you do shoot deer with it among other game. The constitution doesn't specify specific weapons. I can own a tank if I want to.
