Farmers use an uncapping fork or hot knife to remove beeswax caps from the honeycomb.Then, they spin the frames in an extractor to separate honey, collecting the wax for reuse.

The wax on honeycombs always looked so good and I always wondered if it tastes like crunchy honey. Like imagine crunchy peanut butter but with honey instead. I finally got a jar of honey with the wax combs still in and got to try it. It tasted like honey with wax. I wasn't disappointed because it made sense but still it was funny
