“Initial production is always very slow and follows an S-curve. The speed of the production ramp is inversely proportionate to how many new parts and steps there are. For Cybercab and Optimus, almost everything is new, so the early production rate will be agonizingly slow, but eventually end up being insanely fast.” —Elon Musk

Deron Rippey Jr. doesn’t speed up the game, he controls how fast everyone else has to move.🔥 This kind of tempo control is going to be a major weapon at Duke next season and it’s going to change everything on both ends of the floor. Jordan Richard

Sam Altman reveals Ultrafast, which delivers eight times the speed at six times the price “But sometimes you just want the highest intelligence at an absurdly fast speed. So today we're launching Ultrafast across the API, ChatGPT and Codex." "And we think you are really going to love this and not want to go back. Fast already gives you twice the speed at twice the price of standard, but Ultrafast takes that to eight times the speed at six times the price of standard. An incredible 300 tokens per second." "You know what? It's worth it. Let me show you, actually. So this is the same task side by side. We gave both models the same prompt. Create and launch a rocket with the devday colors. On the left here you have Ultrafast. On the right you have regular. You can see how much faster this builds." "The Ultrafast rocket is already taken off, and the regular rocket is not even close to being finished. There is nothing like this on the market today. You can use Ultrafast now with Astra, and soon we're going to offer it for 6.1 Sol as well.”

I got early access to TypeSafe AI's new Jev model and built a demo of it playing tetris The generation speed is so fast that it's pushing blocks down This feels like another "this changes everything" moment

Amsterdam has banned all advertising that contains meat, air travel, gas powered car and cruises because “carbon is bad” This is where it starts. Eventually the products & services themselves will be banned. I wonder how long it will take for this to happen in Canada? They are going to control everything we do in the name of CO2 emissions & we have one of the ringleaders leading our Country.

Look at how easy these 130+ mph speeds are. This is what happens when a really powerful athlete also knows how to swing. This type of athleticism will start shaping up in pro golf. What we thought was fast will change, a lot. The Swingman on IG

We're about to see a Cambrian explosion of new participants in financial markets and across the entire digital economy. That tells me every TAM in everything digital on this planet is wrong… We built every benchmark on human activity... how fast Facebook scaled, how fast OpenAI scaled, human eyes, human clicks, human speed. That's been the yardstick. And it's about to be useless. The new participants aren't human. They replicate at speed, communicate at speed, and don't even read the same websites we do. They don't need to. So it compounds faster and faster and faster, at a speed we can't see. We're about to lose the ability to measure anything at all.

Gambly is growing so quickly that we've had to focus more on site performance. In the process we've greatly sped up some of our most popular queries. Check out the speed on these two Higgins queries. Any unique player name + stat should be this fast. Give it a try!
