Robert "Magyar" Brovdi shared his feelings on the day Kherson was liberated from russian occupation. Standing on the same square as three years ago, the Commander of the USF recalls how people celebrated freedom here and welcomed the Ukrainian liberators. The russians were pushed beyond the Dnipro River, and the city has remained a frontline one ever since. It suffers daily from drones and artillery, while the occupiers hunt civilians from the opposite bank. This vile phenomenon has a name: human safari. Recently, the President of Ukraine reviewed the Commander’s plan for the "Kherson Dome" – an anti-drone system designed to protect the city from enemy drone swarms. Kherson is, and will remain, a Ukrainian city. Believe in the strength of Ukraine’s Defence Forces. Glory to Ukraine!

⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺There is now confirmation of the first attempts to blind Russian FPV drones by installing small IR spotlights on Ukrainian drones, producing a bright, directional beam aimed at the incoming drone’s camera. In one case, a Ukrainian UGV tried to blind an approaching Russian FPV drone but failed. The second example was more successful a “Baba Yaga” drone was able to confuse the operator of an anti-drone interceptor that was attempting to shoot it down. For now, this cannot be called widespread, but in the future such a blinding system may become an effective method of countering FPV drones, especially fiber-optic-guided ones, which cannot be jammed by electronic warfare at all. And, as can be seen, the system can be installed on both ground and aerial platforms. So it turns out the outdated Passive Protection Systems (PPS) like the Shtora-1 so common in the late Soviet/Russian/Ukranian like the T-90A are state of the art now.

The Russians claim that this attack on a passenger train in Kherson was carried out by a fiber-optic FPV. The stable video supports that claim, but the fiber cable would have had to lie across the 600-meter-wide Dnipro River, while the FPV travelled another seven kilometers. 1/

A Russian FPV drone was reportedly waiting for a target when a Ukrainian drone suddenly dropped a grenade from above. The grenade missed, but the Russian operator realized the attack had come from another drone and immediately launched his FPV to search for it. What followed was an unusual drone-versus-drone engagement. The Russian operator located the smaller Ukrainian quadcopter, aggressively manoeuvred toward it and eventually hit it in mid-air. The footage appears to show the Russian FPV acting as an improvised interceptor. The incident highlights how FPV drones are taking on new roles on the battlefield. They are no longer just weapons designed to strike ground targets — operators can also use them to hunt other drones. As counter-drone tactics evolve, aerial dogfights between small UAVs could become an increasingly common part of modern warfare. #russia #ukraine #fpvdrone ##fpv #Drones #DroneStrike

💪 Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Russians with FPV drones from unmanned boats Marines first used FPV drones launched from Barracuda unmanned boats to attack the positions of the invaders in the area of Zalizny Port in the Kherson region. To destroy one of the boats, the invaders used four Lancet barrage munitions at once, as a result of which the boat was lost. Despite this, the rest of the boats successfully reached the designated launch point of the strike drones.

🟡 Senior Hezbollah Official Wafiq Safa to The Grayzone: Over the 15 months (from November 2024 to March 2026) in which Israel was attacking our people and Lebanon, Hezbollah was giving the Lebanese state and diplomacy a chance to stop these attacks. During that time, Hezbollah was developing its capabilities, in missiles, drones, and fighters, both in quantity and quality. In this latest war, the fighters were able to focus on this specific weapon, the FPV drone. It is very simple, and the idea was used without major cost or effort. Its effect is not only in wounding or killing the enemy. It also affects the morale of the Israeli army and its soldiers. Imagine the soldiers now hide during the day and move at night. Even the measure they took, the protective netting, Hezbollah deliberately flew the drones through the middle of the netting in more than one operation. We also believe the FPV drone is a form of response to the pager operation. Israel’s goal behind the pager attack was not only to kill, but to cause injuries to the eyes and hands. The Israeli enemy now admits that many injuries from these drones are to the face and hands. And if the resistance surprised them with the FPV drone, is there another weapon that will surprise the enemy? Certainly there is. (Full interview with Wyatt Reed from the The Grayzone is linked below)
