Why we love college baseball: The lineup came around to give Cincinnati Baseball Kerrington Cross one final collegiate PA — the 1,014th of his career. Redshirted as a FR, to Big 12 POTY. An emotional scene for him and his HC Jordan Bischel. Tip of the cap to those two.

Is this a baseball practice? Did any of these players get better at baseball at this practice? Were any of these players injured doing unsupervised water bag drills? Was the coach the person recording this video? So many questions! #shegone Not Gaetti Bob File Tony Wuench Bill Dubs

Dave Van Horn is one of the best college baseball coaches of his generation. Over 1,300 wins and 10 trips to Omaha. He says he learned what it means to compete and "earn everything you get" during his time as a player at McLennan Baseball. Arkansas Baseball #WPS

Air Force baseball parachuting onto the field to start the season is the best thing you will see on the internet today. And to think there are people out there who think college baseball is boring

“This is how baseball is supposed to be consumed.” My guy Xavier Scruggs on his weekend at Blue Bell Park in College Station, TX. Considering all the baseball he’s experienced across the globe, this is quite the ringing endorsement.

I asked Peterka about this interaction with Tuch & how Utah treats their players: “Ownership, management, they provide us with everything here. Best example is the practice facility…they hand us everything to succeed.” “How invested the owner is. He’s always at the games.”

Georgetown HS head baseball coach Rod Sanders could have gone the easy way. Jumped on a plane to Cincinnati to see his brother Reggie go into the Cincinnati Reds hall of fame on Saturday. He went, the hard way. Taking his entire varsity team, and coaches to Cincinnati to share the moment. Let his real family meet his baseball family. Let kids who had never flown, fly. Players who had never been to an MLB game, see a meaningful one. What a journey.

For all the players (at all ages) that spend their entire batting practice “hooking and pulling” everything… Take a look at the video and then listen carefully to Adam Wainwright Adam Wainwright talk about Castellanos’ approach in BP today… hint… not one pitch pulled… everything backside (oppo). Batting practice is a chance to work your swing and focus on “in game approach.” Wish more young players could learn this and work to apply. Become a complete hitter.
