Gas v deisel notwithstanding, they are both actually being filled at the same time before your very eyes, just labeled day and night. This is dumb on multiple levels.

Fuel stored in underground storage tanks experiences negligible temperature change between day and night.

Two different products. This post is totally meaningless.

Both filled the same amount, one is gas one is diesel... this has nothing to do with day or night

Bullshit... Fuel ist stored underground in tanks...at same temp thru the year

Yeah but they’re both being filled at the same time 😂

Forget about the type of fuel, 🙃🤣😂😅🙃 how was it possible, for it to be DAY n NIGHT in the same spot / location, especially when it was pumped simultaneous ?????

So they conducted the experiment precisely at the day-night boundary......

In the UK the tanks are below ground and therefor at a fairly constant temperature.

The daily cyclic temperature shifts mean NOTHING to gasoline or diesel in terms of how much you are putting into your gas tank. The pumps that chuck that fuel into your car have sensors that tell how much liquid dinosaur are going into your vehicle at that moment.

Okay, that explains a lot…

@grok is this true?

Yes all fuel at the pump is corrected to 15°c so you will get different actual volumes depending on the fuel temperature coming out of the tanks , the ambiant(outside) air temp has very minimal effect on volume ! Even above ground tanks are double insulated

Anyone who’s actually filled a gas can knows this is bullshit.

Welcome to my ted talk; On the left is a Cappuccino and on the right, that’s a latte. Thank you all for coming.

this is also true for beers that's why daydrinking is banned

The "gas" on the right looks like creek water and the nozzle is diesel color. Please do better.

This is such bullshit. Your gauge doesn’t drastically move from day to night lol

The video is terribly misleading. Gasoline (petrol) on the left, diesel on the right. The viscosity is hugely different. The aeration is too. And fuel stations bury their tanks for fire prevention, as a result very little of the fuel you get is any different in temperature.

Hold up. Red handle is Gas. The Green handle is Diesel. Major difference.

You get a gallon both times…

This is actually why you should use the lowest pump setting, and not lock it on high. You don’t need to aerate your gas.

That's why the Saudis drill only at night

Anyone who has ever filled up a gas can knows this is bs

Was it day or night when he did the video?

I call bullshit on this video. Especially when you're comparing gasoline to diesel coming from underground tanks maintained by a constant temperature throughout the day and night. Just saying.

Here's the dumbest post I've seen already this morning. Congratulations. 🎉🎉🎉

The green handle dispenses 87 octane gasoline. The red handle dispenses Pilsner Urquell.

It’s hilarious people responding to this😭 That’s regular and diesel

What if it’s daylight but cold? 🥶

One of those is diesel.

its not day vs. night! its left vs.right!
