How glasses were made in the 1960s

Modern mirrors are made by depositing aluminum. But back in the Victorian era, they made their mirrors using silver nitrate.

I still don’t know how glasses are made till this day 😭😭

So basically those were 'Hand crafted' glasses. Can be used nowadays as a new business idea.

Skill and care. Now these days computers and machines do most of the work, and a technicians are nothing more than glorified customer service rep who can not answer anything. They don’t even know how to adjust glasses and frames these days. I miss the old days.
