First, a quick recap of what took place this past week: ⏳ DAY 18 OF THE WAR: The bow is still breaking. Iran's Intelligence Minister was killed this week — another prince falling — Jeremiah 49:38 continuing to unfold. Trump called Iran "totally decapitated," accidentally using the exact language of a prophecy written 2,600 years ago. The U.S. dropped 5,000-pound deep-penetrator bombs on Iranian missile sites along the Strait of Hormuz — breaking the very systems Iran would use to threaten or shut the strait. Oil is above $100. Iran is still being helped by Russia. Turkey is forging closer ties with Iran and Russia. The hook in Ezekiel 38 is strengthening, world alliances are forming, and the sequence continues exactly as Scripture described. 🛎️ But check this out! This week, as we were watching missiles fly over Tehran, something quiet was happening on Israel’s northern border — one of the most prophetically significant developments of this war so far. France stepped in with a proposal to end the war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. At first glance, it sounds like just another Middle East peace plan…It’s not! Watch these details: 👉🏼 Lebanon would formally recognize Israel — for the very first time since 1948! That would end a 77-year state of war, a conflict that has existed since Israel was founded. 👉🏼 Hezbollah would stop attacks and be disarmed — or at the very least, the Lebanese government would take full control and prevent any attacks from its territory. The Lebanese army would move south of the Litani River —north of Israel’s border, which has served as a dividing line between Israel and Hezbollah. 👉🏼 UN Resolution 1701 would finally be enforced — removing Hezbollah’s military presence from southern Lebanon, something that was supposed to happen after 2006… but never did. 👉🏼 Permanent, internationally recognized borders — replacing lines that have remained disputed since 1948 — would be finalized by the end of 2026. (A very interesting timeframe if the Tribulation begins in the fall with the “confirming of the covenant”.) 👉🏼 France offered to host direct talks in Paris — the first real negotiations between Israel and Lebanon in decades. 👍🏼French President Emmanuel Macron said Lebanese leadership — President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Speaker Nabih Berri — are open to it. Lebanon has already accepted this framework as a starting point for talks, seeking to avoid further destruction and reduce Iran and Hezbollah’s grip on the country. Let me say this again: 1️⃣Lebanon — offering direct talks with Israel for the first time in decades. 2️⃣Hezbollah — the most powerful proxy army Iran built — being disarmed and pushed out. 🟩STAT, is one of your columnists, Adam Feuerstein, colluding with hedge funds?⁉️ ➡️In this post I'll do a cursory review of Mr. Feuerstein's possible collusive activities with hedge funds that are purportedly engaged in illegal share price manipulation. The article: ➡️Let’s look at one such company Mr. Feuerstein has targeted and the statements he made, without evidence. Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. Symbol: $NWBO Mr. Feuerstein has been writing about $NWBO for over a decade. More recently Mr. Feuerstein released an article and a rash of tweets about $NWBO’s May 10, 2022 release of top-line data. Mr. Feuerstein’s article and tweets can best be summed up in his own words: “20+ years of investigation and a $1B clinical trial that failed to show a benefit for GBM patients.” See Image 1. Yet, a peer reviewed journal article from 73 authors stated the opposite: “In this study, adding DCVax-L to SOC resulted in clinically meaningful and statistically significant extension of survival for patients with both nGBM and rGBM compared with contemporaneous, matched external controls who received SOC alone.” (emphasis added) The peer reviewed journal article: In fact, before the May 10th topline data presentation occurred Mr. Feuerstein stated: “The NYAS symposium talk (now by Dr. Mulholland) will not contain any new data/results from the DCVax phase 3 clinical trial.” See Image 2. So, what do we have here? $NWBO is about to release their topline data for a nearly 2-decade trial and Mr. Feuerstein is first falsely stating that no new data will be released and secondly, once the data is released, Mr. Feuerstein falsely claims the trial failed. It appears Mr. Feuerstein is trying to get people to not watch the presentation for themselves so he can then put his own spin on the topline data. ➡️What else occurred on May 9th and May 10th other than Mr. Feuerstein’s false and/or misleading article and tweets? We have the largest and one of the largest illegal share price manipulation days on record according to the $NWBO spoofing lawsuit found here: May 9, 2022 ☑️74 spoofing episodes ☑️Baiting Orders: 632,901 “The Baiting Orders successfully induced the entry of sell orders from other market participants, artificially driving down the price of NWBO shares by -2.623% on average.” May 10, 2022 ☑️100 spoofing episodes ☑️Baiting Orders: 2,883,387 “The Baiting Orders successfully induced the entry of sell orders from other market participants, artificially driving down the price of NWBO shares by -11.77% on average.” “Defendants spoofed the market for NWBO shares on both OTC Link LLC and NYSE ARCA Global OTC that day, driving down the price of NWBO shares from a high of $1.73 to a low of $0.3862. This decline of 78% in the price on a day with positive news about the Company was caused, at least in part, by Defendants’ relentless and brazen manipulation of the market for NWBO shares.” ➡️Were Mr. Feuerstein’s article and social media posts designed to give cover to illegal share price manipulation? They were certainly used as cover. The From the defendant market makers’ filing March 20, 2023: “NWBO also omits that on May 10, 2022—a day on which NWBO alleges “the market learned excellent news” about an NWBO clinical trial, and yet its share price suffered a “staggering decline . . . caused by Defendants’ relentless and brazen manipulation,” ¶ 64—an industry commentator published an analysis of NWBO’s trial data, writing that the results of the trial were “the antithesis of what’s required from any effective cancer treatment,” and actually showed that NWBO’s drug “perform[ed] worse than a placebo.”14” “14 Burck Decl. No. A very quick review of Mr. Feuerstein’s articles show he seems to go out of his way to offer cover for allegations of illegal trading by hedge funds. ☑️Mr. Feuerstein calls the alleged $NWBO share price manipulation “conspiracy theories”. [1] ☑️Mr. Feuerstein, in referencing the allegations of naked shorting by hedge funds, states the allegations are “fantastical” and that there is a “non-existent hedge fund wolfpack”. [1] ☑️Here Mr. Feuerstein spends an entire article offering cover for the potential $NWBO shorts. [2] ☑️Here is another article where Mr. Feuerstein offers additional reasons for the “deep plunge in the value of Northwest Bio shares…”[3] ➡️Mr. Feuerstein went on to call $NWBO’s spoofing lawsuit "nonsense". See: Yet, a federal Judge in the Southern District of New York stated the trading in $NWBO stock bears “all these indica of spoofing.” [4] On reason put forth by $NWBO and their lead attorney, Laura Posner, for the extensive illegal share price manipulation is for the purpose of a naked short covering scheme: "And like here, the plaintiff alleged that defendants sought to benefit from their spoofing by obtaining shares at below-market prices in order to cover short positions established through a related alleged scheme of naked short selling." Instead of just talking about it, I wanted to go through it and really break it down to figure out the exact reason for the difference in Jalen Duren's play between the regular season and the playoffs. *LONG BREAKDOWN COMING* First, lets list how much the difference was: Iso in RS: 82nd %ile Iso in PS: 21st %ile Post-ups in RS: 88th %ile Post-ups in PS: 59th %ile PPP on drives in RS: 1.18 ppp PPP on drives in PS: 0.80 Layups in RS: 79th %ile Layups in PS: 19th %ile It was a staggering drop off. Shocking to many of us who watched him all season. So, what happened? Well, #1 I think mentally he was letting his struggles get to him and he started to play out of control. Something that suggests this to me is this stat: He started to figure some things out himself in isolation over the last 2 games against the Cavs. He had six isolation possessions in the final two games against the Cavs; he scored on five of those possessions and drew a foul on the other. Game 6 he started to look confident and really made them pay out of isolation. I really think a ton of it was he got hit with a punch early against ORL and really struggled to handle the pressure and struggles after, and just kept stacking and stacking. So, him being in his own head is #1 for me. #2: His handle got exposed quite a bit. In the regular season, he only had a 4.2 TO% in isolation, which is incredible. In the playoffs, though, that spiked to 20 TO%. On drives in the RS, he had a TO% of 4%. In the PS, it jumped to 13.3%. The first clip below shows how the right-to-left cross he loved doing all season was really taken away from him. Too loose of a handle, and he often got his pocket picked trying this exact move over and over. I think having his go-to move taken from him shook him a bit and left him scrambling a bit in his head to find a counter. The second clip shows, imo, him starting to lose trust in his handle. He immediately turns his back to the defender, which is what you do when you're worried about losing the ball. But, even then, he loses control of the handle and it ends up in a turnover. If I'm the Pistons, I'm showing all his turnovers due to his handle and working with him on tightening his handle and also helping him get comfortable with a counter/second move so defenders don't just sit on the right-to-left cross. #3: I think he really struggled to adjust to the playoff whistle. In the regular season, he drew free throws on 21% of his isolations and 31% of his post-ups. In the PS, it dropped to 14% and 11%, respectively. There were many possessions where in the RS he would've got free throws, but did not in the PS and he was frustrated. In the third clip, you'll see how physical he was being played by Mobley (which we all want physicality in the game). But, in the RS, he probably is getting FTA's here. There are many examples of this where it felt like a lot of his value during the RS was being able to draw FTA's on his drives, and in the PS, refs just allowed more physicality, and he struggled to deal with it. #4: Ausar-Duren duo. I believe in this duo, and I do not think this was the main reason Duren struggled. However, I am not blind to the fact that there were obviously some possessions that hurt Duren. In the regular season, Duen actually got less efficient when Ausar wasn't on the floor. However, in the playoffs, Duren went from 51 TS% with Ausar on the floor (302 minutes) to 64 TS% with Ausar off the floor (121 minutes). In the 4th clip, you really see how the lack of spacing caused a tough shot from Duren. He gets a step on WCJ going right, and probably would prefer to then just use his strength to create spearation. However, he sees Suggs sitting in the right gap off of Ausar, which forces him to spin left. Once he spins left, Paolo is completely leaving Tobias open. This is one of the reasons I really think DET needs a spacing 4 because this should be an easy kickout from Duren to a shooter. He still should've made this pass to Tobias, but a legit shooting 4 I think would relocate to the corner and make an easier outlet/easier to see for Duren. But, he still coulda made the pass, tbf. Either way, you see how the lack of spacing from both Ausar and Tobias forced Duren into a really awkward drive where he was forced into an extremely tough shot. I think if the passing returned from Duren, some of these situations wouldn't happen. Hitting Ausar early as he cuts into the space would work, or hitting Tobias (who again shoulda be making himself more available) beyond the arc results in better offense. But, also, having better spacing probably allows Duren to just get to his original move once he beats WCJ off the dribble. and lastly #5: He really just didn't play well. I can't include any more clips (I'll put some in the immediate thread reply to display), but he really just didn't play well. Missed *a lot* of looks we're used to him making. His touch around the rim left him, looked like he really felt rushed in the paint. He was struggling to secure rebounds after dominating the glass all season (during the RS, he averaged 4.3 second chance points a game, in the PS it dropped to 2.3). During RS, he had a 22.0 DREB%, which dropped to 16.0% in the playoffs. So, I think a lot of factors played into why he struggled so much in the playoffs. My takeaway is I don't think these things are unfixable; actually, I think they're very fixable. Experience of dealing with what playoff physicality is I think is going to help moving forward. All young players have to adjust to that--I think Cade really learned that from NY series to this playoff run. Tightening his handle and just having a second move to go to is not something that should be considered impossible. I'd like to believe it's pretty likely with how much he works and the raw skill he already has with his handle. Pistons adding a legit spacer at the four I think solves a lot and will make Duren's life a lot easier. The most concerning part is mental. And we won't know an answer to that until the next playoffs. Did this experience help him on his journey towards becoming mentally strong and prepared enough to move forward? Did this run help him find a routine that helps him lock in mentally, as many players have said they had to discover? Or will the pressure from struggling last postseason get to him this upcoming postseason? Will he let mistakes get into his head, compound them, and start playing rashly? I don't think the second option will be the case, but no one will know until the next postseason. Honestly, I'm more concerned and critical of his defense in the playoffs (which at times was pretty good and at other times was an incredible struggle), but that would require its own thread. My ending thoughts: I still very much believe in Duren. This playoff run showed he has areas he must sharpen up and learn from, but at 22 that shouldn't be a shocker. He is incredibly talented and made a large jump during the RS. The PS posed challenges he didn't quite have answers to yet. But another run of experience, another offseason of training, and another year older should lead him down a good path. I am fully supportive of paying Duren and extending him. I am not at close to 50 million dollars. 35-40 million is where I think they'll settle on, and I'm fine with that. But, he's gotta learn from these playoffs! As expected, Brent and WTI crude oil rose today due to 1/5 oil volumes passing via Hormuz. For now, this is a “wait and see what happens” situation rather than actively trading the news. It's all very volatile, as seen with semis names recently w/ ~$2.8T of market cap being wiped out across the ecosystem at the end of June alone. We all know that semis have been selling off aggressively for the past couple of weeks, which hasn't been helped by the broader macro landscape with the war. In my view, it's definitely a risk-off market for the time being with the hyperscaler earnings at the end of July being the next critical catalyst. Maybe good timing to get all this war nonsense out the way beforehand? Korea is certainly the epicenter of the issue here with KOSPI being down over 20% in just over two weeks. Samsung put up staggering earnings earlier in the week where they became the most profitable company globally ahead of the likes of $NVDA. But the stock has sold off over 12% since.... Clearly, nothing is fundamentally wrong with Samsung. They're booming. So when a historic earnings gets sold, that's most likely a combination of de-leveraging / profit taking. Well, tbh, it doesn't really matter what the issue is, fundamentally they're strong and will continue to be strong. I write this letter through X with the sincere hope that it reaches your attention. The present issue concerns FIR No. 44 dated 19-04-2026 registered by East Sector 26 Police Station, Chandigarh against Professor Madhu Kishwar Madhu Purnima Kishwar and a few others under Sections 66C, 66D and 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Sections 196, 318, 336(1), 336(3), 336(4), 340, 353 and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The fundamental question is: whose identity has Professor Madhu Kishwar allegedly stolen? Was it the identity of Satinder Singh? If not, what is his locus standi in lodging such a complaint? If the allegation concerns some other person, has that person complained? In the absence of any such complaint, how is an offence under this section made out? (ii) Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000 relates to cheating by personation through a communication device or computer resource. Whom did Professor Madhu Kishwar allegedly impersonate? Who was deceived, and what wrongful gain or loss occurred? Did she impersonate Satinder Singh or any other person? If not, how does the complainant acquire locus standi under this provision? (iii) Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 criminalises publication or transmission of obscene material in electronic form. The complainant himself states that the video was originally posted by Pardeep Kaur Dhillon and depicted Jaspal Singh Sarai receiving a facial massage from a woman. The video, by any objective standard, contains no obscene or lascivious material. Neither individuals were nude, nor was any sexual act depicted. It was merely a professional facial massage. Professor Madhu Kishwar merely reposted the content on X. Therefore, the essential ingredients of Section 67 are entirely absent. How does reposting a pre-existing video amount to creating a false document or forged electronic record? No document was fabricated. No electronic record was forged. Again, even assuming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the aggrieved person, why has no complaint been filed either by him or by any authorised representative? How does Satinder Singh acquire standing in such circumstances? (vii) Section 340 of BNS concerns fraudulent or dishonest use of a forged document or electronic record. When there is no forged document at all, the provision itself cannot apply. Further, the alleged victim has neither filed nor authorised any complaint. How can reposting a video of a man receiving a facial massage — even if someone attributes resemblance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi — possibly amount to incitement of mutiny, public disorder, or offences against the State? The invocation of this section is wholly unsustainable. (ix) Section 356 of BNS concerns defamation. However, Section 222 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 clearly provides that defamation can be prosecuted only by the aggrieved person. Dr. Hooda Ji, permit me to share a version of a well-known satirical anecdote about policing, which bears a striking resemblance to the present case, where Professor Madhu Kishwar is being compelled to endure the ordeal of criminal prosecution despite the absence of the essential ingredients of the offences invoked against her. A man sees an old friend running down the street — terrified, panting, and sweating. He stops him and asks, “What is wrong?
