How good was Magic Johnson? This good…

Met him a few days ago on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills!!!

As a 20yr old guard, playing center, recorded 42 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in game 6 vs the 76ers to win his first of 5 NBA Championships. Only rookie to win a finals mvp, 3x MVP, 12x All Star and retired at 32.

Lakers Showtime Era Was The Best Basketball Ever Played

He was so fun to watch! Fortunately I was able to watch many of his games at the “Fabulous Forum “ that’s what Chick Hern called it. I think Hern came up with “Showtime” as well. Nobody led the fast break better than Ervin

notice no traveling, jump stops, euro steps 😂

Kids today need to realize this man was 6’8’.

He was the best PG ever

Luka>AIDS Boy

@S_U_Network Basketball I.Q. off the charts

People soon forget the great NBA players of the 80s/90s, but two from the 80s/ are Julius Irving and Larry Bird. IMO

Miss that kind of fun on the court. Not the same anymore. Not even close.

Man won a ring while filing in for the GOAT center.

Game Six. The only two words needed.

Yes--- I`ve seen it since we were both freshmen at Michigan State in 1977! Here I am with Magic as we watched our MSU win a 2nd NCAA title in Indy 2000!

Watch him and bird are amazing

El mejor de la historia tal y como yo entiendo el baloncesto

GOAT PG, top 3 all time behind MJ then Kobe.

Magic for real 🪄

@braves2430 He was Good!

Awesome player!

The highlights you never see are those from his 1st year. He made impossible passes & bounced many balls off of the faces of Jamaal Wilkes, Spencer Haywood & Norm Nixon. They hadn't learned the "no-look pass." Eventually for self-preservation purposes, they learned to raise hands

The best point guard ever.

He was sooo good: He made Kurt Rambus look good.

Showtime!!!!

The GOAT

The truth

Daha iyisini görmedim

He is an immortal

He was so far ahead of his era

Solo alguien que no lo vio jugar puede hacer esa pregunta...

Magically

It's butter

Underrated

I thought he was as good or better than Jordan in prime ..but I dont know basketball much
