How governors are stealing money from you
10 条评论

I saw it this morning, I just had to scroll pass. The fact that the governors could come out to the public to announce these things is insane. Is there any way forward in this country 🤔

#FearlessInOctober Nigerians need to come out in large numbers( in millions in all states); the government will bow! #FearlessInOctober

This is the exact way those governors are stealing our money. EFCC will never see those governors, but will easily see the youths.

My own is simple. As long as the price of petrol continues to increase, so will my resolve not to vote for Peter Obi continue to increase 🤣😅🤣😅 We must teach Peter Obi and Obidients a lesson that they will never forget.

And they're doing it openly, they don't even hide anything these days because they've taken us for granted

Only a revolution can save Nigeria

Before opening the video, I knew every statement pointed towards homeland primary leadership system will be true. Was I disappointed? : No Do I feel sorry for the future? : Yes You can watch and see for yourself gow we are ripped daily. Sad.

Corruption's on a roll these days. They really want us to believe they spent 1.2 billion fixing just 25 boreholes? What did they use, gold-plated pipes?

The unfortunate situation we find ourselves in this country is our doing. We are not serious We play too much We give up too easily Why won't the politicians play us. Why

Many governors do not truly believe they are accountable in this life or the hereafter. Our scholars and religious leaders should have the courage to stand against such selfish, unjust and irreligious behaviour, but many remain silent and complicit. Some even encourage their followers to participate in corrupt practices and never take action or speak against wrong-doing so long as it is done by a superior. Meanwhile, true scholars throughout Islamic history have consistently stood up for what is right, and have been imprisoned and tortured by rulers as a result. Imam Abu Hanifah was arrested and tortured in prison by Abu Ja’far Al Mansur, the Abbasid ruler at the time, who took offense that Imam Abu Hanifah did not want to be part of the corrupt regime. He continued to teach in prison until he passed away. The governor of Madinah forced people to take the oath of allegiance to Al Mansur, but Imam Malik issued a fatwa that such an oath was not binding because it was forced. Imam Malik was arrested, found guilty of defiance and publicly flogged. Imam Ash-Shafi’i was arrested and taken in chains to Baghdad on false charges of supporting rebels in Yemen. Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal was flogged until he became unconscious during the rule of Al Mu'tasim. History is replete with instances of where good people did NOT cooperate with wrong-doing and were courageous enough to stand by their values even in the face of a tyrannical ruler, and that is how reform takes place.
