Update: he won’t go back to Ireland because he has drug charges and fled to the United States instead of going to his court date.

The timeline is interesting-he was due to report for a court date in Ireland for drug trafficking in April, 2009. He arrived here in March of 2009 on a 90 day visa, which he, obviously, overstayed. Since he arrived, he has been working, which is against the law, and only applied for a green card once he got married, which, admittedly, then allowed him to work. He has no desire to return to Ireland because he faces criminal drug charges. He’s been breaking the law in this country since ~July of 2009, by overstaying his visa and working outside of the law. Send. Him. Back.

I don't know why I didn't get national news coverage when I complained about high school lunch being like "prison food" back in the day... Criminals complaining about prisons is laughable.

He was a drug dealer in Ireland and fled to the US. He's criminal euro trash there and here and should be put on the first plane back to his home country.

DHS☝️ missed some facts …as always, which results in ZERO CREDIBILITY. FACTS: While Culleton did overstay his initial 90-day visa waiver after entering the U.S. legally in March 2009, he had taken steps to regularize his status. He married a U.S. citizen in April 2025, filed for adjustment of status to obtain a green card & received a valid work permit about a month before his arrest on 9/9/25. His green card application was 99% processed, with only a final interview pending, which is a standard pathway for spouses of citizens to gain lawful permanent residency without leaving the country. He wasn’t hiding in the shadows but building a life, running a successful business in Boston, paying taxes, & contributing to the economy without any U.S. criminal record. Second, the claim that detention is a “choice” is disingenuous. Culleton was detained during a routine traffic stop near a Home Depot in MA, handcuffed despite presenting his work permit & explaining his pending application, & then shuffled across the country—first to New York, then to a remote facility in El Paso, Texas, nearly 2,500 miles from his home and wife. A bond for his release was initially approved but later denied, leaving him no option but to fight from inside. Suggesting he “chose” five months in custody ignores the coercive nature of the system. IOW…fact check EVERYTHING these fuckers say. EVERYTHING

They are concentration camps. Why are you trafficking 2 month olds in them?

It's also emerged that he had a warrant against him for failure to show in an Irish court after being caught with 25 ecstasy tablets (charged with intent to supply). This means he likely lied on his ESTA application.

Two things can be true: immigration laws matter, and detention conditions should still be humane. We can debate policy without losing compassion.

The "concentration camp" slur is a moral atrocity committed by liberals desperate to paralyze law enforcement. They cheapen historical tragedy to shield foreign criminals from consequences. This individual occupied our nation for sixteen years and chose detention over compliance. It reveals the entitlement at the core of the illegal invasion. Democrats demand we dismantle our borders to accommodate their refusal to follow the law. It is vital to see the state finally assert its sovereignty. If you like my comments, please consider following me at @FinalTelegraph where I will dismantle the left entirely without mercy.

A criminal in Ireland comes here and commits another crime- I’d say neither Ireland or the United States wants this guy no matter if he started a business and a family. Ship him and his entire family back to Ireland so he can serve his time and start a business in his home country.

Isn’t he wanted on drug charges in Ireland, including failing to make a court appearance and a few other things, which is why he came to the States in the first place?

Concentration Camp: a place where large numbers of people (such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority) are detained or confined under armed guard -Webster They're concentration camps.

Conditions are so bad in these concentration camps, a 12 year old girl tried to slit her wrists because that was less traumatic than staying in these camps. DHS and Noem are inhumane monsters.

History shows that no one was allowed to voluntarily leave a concentration camp and return home with a cash bonus. ICE detainees can self deport, at will, any time they choose to do so. This kind of rhetoric is beyond reprehensible.

He was here the RIGHT way. You are AWFUL, @TriciaOhio. Just a common troll! They are concentration camps. Have you ever stepped food into one filled with people? No. I know you haven’t. Being in detention is never a choice. He didn’t CHOSE THAT! Who hurt you so badly that you hurt others so easily?

Calling indefinite detention a "choice" is like calling a hostage situation voluntary relocation. The admin's Orwellian rebrand of carceral cruelty reaches new heights of gaslighting artistry. Eduardo Rodriguez "chose" 152 days in Dilley? Records show DHS failed to secure his travel docs, then blamed him. This gaslighting fuels systemic cruelty: median detention surged 362% to 148 days by late 2025. Meanwhile, per-diem costs jumped to $214.50, pumping $17B+ to private prisons whose stocks soared 44%. The "CBP Home" app's 214K "voluntary returns" mask digital duress under threat of indefinite cages. When cages become "choices," truth becomes the first casualty of state cruelty.
