How have I never heard this until today?

I come from a very large family and I’m the eldest grandchild which means I babysat a ton. Anyway, listen to your kids and write this stuff down. It’s super common in kids up until the age of 4, for some reason they start to forget it all about then and quickly. The dates and details match up, crazy I know.

This was covered in a documentary called Surviving Death on Netflix

My eldest was almost three when he started talking about when he was "old before". He said he walked with a walker, his sister died in a house fire, and talked about when he was "young before" too... playing stickball and kick the can in the street. This was in 1993.

When my youngest son was small and not talking yet, I would, every now and then, have dreams of him almost drowning. It scared the daylights out of me and I would wake up instantly wondering what was wrong with me to have such a dream. As he became a toddler and could speak, he told me he was afraid of the water because he wouldn’t be able to breathe. The fear of drowning lasted until he was about five. I never told him about my dreams, of course - but I always wondered about a past lifetime memory. He grew out of this and eventually swam like a fish.

My Mom said I drew a picture of a airplane cockpit when I was 4and I told her it was my plane and I was shot down over the Zuder Zee. Long story short my uncle worked at a major airbase near and gave it to some pilots from WWII and one of the said it was a P-47's cockpit layout.

Reincarnation. He was a James the pilot in WWII. He had nightmares of being shot down for years as a kid. I saw it on Ancient Aliens of all things. They were talking about reincarnation and he said he doesn’t remember a lot now. He’s 20 something.

There is a book about this written by the boy’s mother called “Soul Survivor”.

It is so hard listining to women tell stories. I have no idea what she said. I only have one woman I have to listen to, that’s my limit! But why do women think everything they want to say is so goddamn important???

There are evil spirits who have been around for thousands of years. You can read about some of them in the Bible when Jesus cast them out of a demon possesed man. Evil spirits can influence people to believe they were someone who lived before but they did not. No reincarnation.

How did the parents find the pilots name and death details if the records weren’t public?

I started thinking I was a reincarnated German soldier when I was about 25. I was born in Germany and some of the memories I had and still experience made me wonder. Never know of course but who knows?

It absolutely blows my mind that we are not in the place as a whole to accept the fact that we keep coming back to this earth, but in a different body. Why is this so hard to understand?

My son would talk about being a grown up before he was my son. He was a cook. He ran on the road one day, I was explaining why it was unsafe. He said "oh do you mean like when I was big and was in a car accident? Everyone was okay, but me."
