"how did that work out for them" is a question that reveals charlie's intellectual dishonesty. was the topic to be how the code of hammurabi endorsed death penalty, charlie would wax poetic about how ancient mesopotamia was able to create civilization out of savary because of it

I kinda wish they would just admit this is their issue with LGBTQ folks in general. They just think it's wrong. Fine good for them, I don't care. I know there are nuances with how people participate in society but that's the heart of it.

This is a great example of how Charlies debate tactics rely solely on his opponents ignorance. Any time he starts getting cornered on a point he repositions the debate by treating them like google and putting the burden of off-hand knowledge on them.

I think its funny Charlie Kirk was trying to make a "gotcha" argument, but when it didn't immediately work out he just threw in the towel and doubled down on his opinion. At that point all he was doing was making it clear that debating him was a complete waste of time

Kirk, used to debating emotive American college students, was clearly out of his depth when faced with a far more informed and articulate, opponent.

Mr. Kirk straight up admitted it a few times that his opposition to gay marriage is that he just believed it was wrong. He was a Christian nationalist. Thing is, there's no shortage of conservatives who'd be thrilled to live under the Christian equivalent of Sharia law.

Is this how he really debated 1. Act casualand ask for examples 2. Try to make them second guess themselves 3. If all else fails just disagree

Absolutely no one was worried about Charlie Kirk exercising his free speech. The guy was a joke among debaters, and a joke on South Park. Trump, however, had a motive to pluck him, after Kirk demanded the release of the Epstein Files.

I have seen this before. It was great. The exceptional young university student totally destroyed charlie who was just regurgitating the MAGA rhetorics over and over.

How's that working put for them? A major ancient empire gave us writing, the wheel, the plow, advanced mathematics, government and legal codes (Hammurabi's Code), astrology, agricultural practices (dams, aqueducts, tremendous influences to modern civilization. And not white folk.

Fyi there aren't any ancient societies that recognized a "third gender". What he's referring to are words that describe (mostly) gay men as their explanation for why they behave more like women and prefer sex with other men. It's as silly as claiming "tomboy" is a third gender.
