I could be wrong, but I think @Procreate might be trying to bring that Dreams feature of retaining pixels off the canvas for things like this in a future update. So hopefully you won’t have to keep using this alt route by then! Sick sketch, by the way!

read the other comment that you dont like csp so i think you should try procreate dreams instead, haven't tried it but assuming they're from the same company the apps should be somewhat similar

😱genio us! But In Procreate, there's no basic option to set two position points and move from bottom to top? That's crazy! That must be incredibly useful! That method must make the file very heavy in GB !

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

gm gm. today is a special day as i have accomplished something i never thought i would be able to do. i started apes on canvas almost three years ago. i've done over a hundred oil on canvases, from projects such as The Ape Society, Pudgy Penguins, DeGods, among many others. but today, thanks to the painting comissioned by ESCO, i have done my first ever Yuga Labs MAYC. the paintings are oil on canvas and are framed in a baroque style frame, with about a tenth of an ounce of gold laid into the frames in the form of 24k gold leaf. this particular painting also included a first ever gold leaf applied directly to the canvas to highlight the gold coins dripping out of the ape's eyes. here is the final result, i hope you all like it:

Being able to move fluidly between Figma Make and the canvas is a pretty big deal Recent example 👇 1️⃣ Started exploring a minified recording toolbar directly on the canvas 2️⃣ Once I had some rough shapes I moved it into Make, imported my style guide, and started bringing it to life with expandable controls, hover states, and tooltips for keyboard shortcuts 3️⃣ A few prompts later, I had something interesting… but the layout wasn’t quite right. 4️⃣ So I jumped back into the canvas and made ~8 quick variations with a bigger video container. 5️⃣ Once I got somewhere interesting I brought that back into Make. All I had to do was copy and paste the frames for my default and hover state of the component and it pretty much nailed the core layout 6️⃣ Then I layered on the timer and made it interactive. But once I got it back into Make I thought "hmm... what if the toolbar layout was based on which quadrant of the screen the component was in 🤔" I was able to one shot this interaction and after playing with it a bunch I kinda love it? 7️⃣ Sent it to the team in Inflight so everyone could play with the prototype. 8️⃣ Brought the up to date UI back into the canvas to polish some of the tooltip details Before this, it always felt like I had to choose between two very different workflows. Qullamaggie shows Exit Strategy for Long Swings “What’s your exit strategy for such long swings? How do you decide this? Okay, that’s easy. Let’s take an example, ROKU. So I bought it here, on the opening range size. It gapped up on earnings, huge volume. All the things I’m looking for. You know, long range break had like a 6, 7-month range break had surprising good earnings. Great growth, etc. I sell some, maybe 15 to 20%. A quarter of my position, and then I trail it. Then I just start trailing it like the first close below this purple line. That’s the 10-day moving average. I sell maybe say a quarter or a third of what I still have left. The shares I have left after the ones I bought. Sold into strength, and then I sell another third or quarter when it hits the first close below the 20-day moving average, which is the yellow line. And then the next level is the red line, which is the 50-day, etc. So that’s how I scale out. So that’s what I use these moving averages for. I wait for them to be my stop pretty much. So I wait until the end of the day and I sell it. Then I also have a level. Let’s just take an example right here. I usually use the previous swing’s lows as my stop. Then I would get out at 79. Even though it turns up intraday and closes above this yellow line, I would have to stop. You know, you can get stopped out because you know. I can, so you know. Sometimes stocks, they go, they can go down, you know, 20%.50% in a day, even. You know mid and large cap names can do that sometimes. So, you know, if it hits my last resort stop, it is my last resort stop. I just sell it. If that was helpful, those are my sell rules, sell into strength and I trail the rest.”

These are the layers, and in the file you can see that I’m coloring on a separate layer so I have the freedom to change things or draw stuff over the frame. That’s something whoever wrote it’s AI probably wouldn’t know anything about coloring
