How I painted this

Noooo, I need details! Brush types, coloring techniques, brushing techniques, what do you blend colors with, how do you gradient some textures, y’know the slow stuff!

I only use two brushes, one to sketch (Zari Pen, CSP store) and one to paint (Donny DON'T, Deviantart pack). If there's a name for my technique in digital, then I don't know it; I call them manual gradients. And I also hatch. I don't blend colors. All my textures are handmade

@BooGatteka May I ask, what do you do to make your image black and white to see values?

One layer?

I separate each unique element into their own individual layers, then after I'm satisfied I start painting on top of all of them. So it's kinda similar, but if I mess something up I don't always have to completely paint over it, I can just delete it instead

Can you make one with 10 times the size of the lips?
