Seems like story is very long in novel and as someone in my Tl mentioned it would be better to have 2 season instead of rushing to give a closure So many unnecessary plots showed up and running so many characters , so confusing n gets tired to follow in 40 epi

The first 10 eps is amazing. I was hooked

The first 15 episodes of the drama are only 50 chapters in the novel. They cut some nuance in those episodes to make do and still was not enough. The military plot takes 2/3 of the novel and here we barely got anything. Should've gone for 2 seasons, but almost no one does.

This and A Journey To Love is always going to be my what would have been.

The show died in episode 17 for me. I loved the show in the early episodes but I am forcing myself to finish the show.

Ending could have used some work. Definitely was not as cohesive and too many plots at the end that they tried to wrap-up. I agree with some that this drama could have used a second season to make it better.

@softstargaze The screenwriter coherency with the plot, and probably with scheduling issue (i guess). It started to decline past ep 27. The focus on aim/resolve, war & conflict till ep 34 feels lacking and choppy. In some scenes in btw 35 to 38, there are great moments. In ep 39-40, hmm well
