How is data calculated before it’s counted? If one person can create an app that tells him specifically what the results are before the rest of us, how can we be sure that he can’t control them?

I voted Trump, but would be more than willing to investigate both 2020 & 2024 to determine who’s cheating. But also, you have no evidence! That’s what you said to us in 2020 where’s your evidence. How does it feel not to be able to question the election & have those questions taken seriously.

Can one person change the culture of an organization? Yes. We all know that can definitely happen in a negative way. One person can shift the energy of a room, school, or an organization, to make it worse than what it was before. The opposite can be true as well. I saw individuals shift the culture of entire rooms in moments by bringing their energy and people fed off their enthusiasm, and the dynamic of the culture changed in moments. We often discuss culture like it’s someone else’s responsibility but culture is made up of people. And eventually that one person who can bring a positive light to an organization can diminish their own. No matter how optimistic, joyful and passionate a person can be, never assume they are “good.” Check in on people even when they seem like they don’t need it, because often they do. One person can move the culture ahead in a positive direction, but that individual might also need your energy to keep them going. Education is about elevation and whether you are positive or negative, it is contagious? Which one will you be?

Over the last few months, we’ve been thinking about how to learn from “off-domain” data - data from non-robot sources like video or simulation. These data sources are not quite good enough to learn policies (even monolithic VLA models) directly, but they still contain lots of information that can be useful for generalizable robot control. How can we develop robot learning models that are able to make use of this type of data for generalizable control? In new work, that we call HAMSTER, we show that VLMs can be useful for enabling robotic learning from off-domain data, but specifically when used through hierarchical VLA architectures. We show that this class of models can learn generalizable robot policies for the real world from large-scale, off-domain data. A 🧵 (1/10)

Is this guy aware that we just got a starter back and are still missing another? Is he aware that Wagler, Stoja, Mirk, Tomi or Boz can drop 20 on you any given game? Is he aware that this was a top-20 defense before Boswell got hurt, and still top-30 while he was out? I genuinely don’t understand how it’s possible to be this wrong.
