You mischaracterize the video. None of us directly pay tariffs but I understand that the Democrat Communist party line is that if we charge taxes on other countries that export to us that increases the prices for us consumers to pay. That is an overly simplistic understanding of how tariffs and international trade actually work. President Trump is using the threat of tariffs as leverage to get other countries to treat us more fairly in trade so that we match up our percentages. Other countries have been charging High tariffs on us for decades which means that our producers don't get to sell products over there which means lower employment of good-paying jobs here which ripples throughout the economy to having too many people working Doordash instead of high paying manufacturing jobs. There is insufficient room here to go deeply into economics, but Democrat propaganda tends to be simplistic and is designed to rile up ignorant and gullible people.
