I need to see a picture of her butthole sewed shut and what happens all the gas that normally escapes through your anus does it go out of the bag? Does it come out your stomach? I got too many questions and not enough answers.

This is a normal procedure after colon cancer. In my case I only had to use an ostomy bag for a couple months while my colon healed. Then they reconnected my intestine to my colon. Some people need to keep an ostomy bag for the rest of their lives.

Some things we take for granted, can actually change your life upside down in their absence 😭😭

I have been in a situation I had to think about this possibility because of anal cancer. The cancer is gone, but should it come back, this might than be the only solution to survive. Let's hope it will not ... because I don't think I can be this "happy" about it.
