Sasha initially wanted to tackle the opponent to touch, but when he realized he was already going down, SFM pulls out of the tackle. The contact was minimal as you can see SFM spinning out of the tackle. Btw it was a shoulder to shoulder, not a shoulder to head. Good call ref

To be honest, this rule is killing the game. Head contact is part of the sport. No one seems to have clarity on this, including world rugby. Rugby is a man's sport.

We know how to play for 10 minutes with 14 men. It would not have made a difference. The ill discipline of the Irish was disgraceful. O'Brien should have got a yellow, upgraded to a 20 minute red. James Ryan should have got a straight red and a 6 match ban. The whole pack should have been yellowed.

I reckon it has something to do with the fact that you had to really look at this to see head contact, and you had to work hard to see it as no wrap and intentional. As opposed to James Ryan, really wrapping, really clean, really promoting the sport.

As a SA, I fully agree, it's a lottery. Cards ruined the game. Rugby isn't the focal point anymore. Waiting for cards or the TMO to interject dominates the game. @worldrugby have ruined the game.
