This is renewal, not polishing. The old shoe even had to catch fire for the new one to come forth. That's refining or redefining. The process is so satisfying, ngl.

😂😂😂 You got it right!

I thought we could all polish our black shoes like this as Nigerian kids who wore black shoes to school everyday. 😂 😂 Every morning, we did thorough polishing and it was a competition about whose shoes shined more in school 🎒. 😂

😅😅😅😅 That's right!

Ehe nau

😅😅😅

It’s a skill, and u need to use the right tools and polish. I use parade gloss. Taught my son to clean his work shoes properly, how to care for the leather. My dad taught me…

It's such a cool skill to have. I hope it's keeps getting passed down 👏👏👌👌

@Emidem6 This reminds me of people who purposely make cars filthy so they can wash it as content 😊🤭 I still watch

@Emidem6 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Are you me?

@Emidem6 😌😌

@Emidem6 ☺️

Shoeshiners alive and well at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg

Wow. And looks like there's a couple of them. And that chair, so you can relax. Nice ☺️

how on earth do you let your leather shoes get that bad in the first place? shouldn't be allowed to wear nice leather shoes if you let them get that bad

I completely agree with you on that one

That feels so satisfying to watch

I agree

Used to fly the Dallas-Ft Worth airport and get the shoes slicked up regularly. 😎

Nice that you've experienced it

Watching these videos on shoe shining always reminds me of my dad. He would sit on the back steps every Saturday and shine his shoes for church on Sunday.

No. This is a video from XIX century bro.

Had one in my building every Wednesday for years. He’d polish them on or off your feet. Miss that guy.

I can imagine how you'd miss him ☺️

The video is from Türkiye, and there are still many shoe shiners in the country.

There is one at Heathrow airport terminal 2 first floor, not far from the Lufthansa business lounge. Was there several times. Always does a good job.

That's good to know, Markus🤝

Damn, that was so calming. Amazing work!

Truly it. Felt exactly same way watching it

Magic hands.

Truly looks like magic

You can find them in some airports still, international hubs.

Oh wow, that's amazing!

Yes they do In Nigeria at least

Ohk. That's cool

This video should come with a warning..... "This cannot be done on shoes bought on Temu"

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely not!

The world's best shoe polish is the NURİ LEFLEF brand, and the shoe polisher must be Turkish, otherwise this brand of polish and wax would not be used. And, when you buy genuine leather shoes, be sure to oil them with animal fat once a month! The leather will never crack or break.

👍🏻👍🏻

Clean or dirty- this is a really ugly shoe

Someone said it's for killing roaches in the corner 😅

Is that an umpa lumpa foot?

😅😅😅 Won't be surprised

Looks fake 😂😂

You think? 😂 Looks like a job well done to me.

The shoe was peeling 😂

😂😂😂 looked to me like it just had plenty dust in the creases.

😊

Complete with new laces! Kudos on the shiner, pass on the style of shoe. Only good for killing roaches in the corners.

"Good for killing roaches in the corner" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

trust me I was in the military and sometimes the same boots I wore daily to the motor pool were the same spit shined boots I wore on Guard duty.

So you shined them?

Yes it takes a couple of hours and you can see your self in the shine. Kiwi, water, a soft rag and a constant circular motion is the cats pajamas. Win numeral uno in the guard inspection and the day off. 🥇

in Mexico exist and quite popular

That’s Tommy, I mean he’d make your shoes look like fucking mirrors

At what point do you just take the shoes off to get them cleaned?

すごいなぁ… 職人技ですな

Amazing craftsmanship!

Is this real 🧐

What do you think?

This is what I want see at the mall kiosk when they say “hey nice shoes, can I show you something to clean them up?”

I know, right!

While I was brought up to care for my shoes, 30 years ago I lived in a foreign country and because of poverty there were numerous guys like this on the streets. So daily I would pay a generous amount to one guy to make my face shine in my shoes like these.
