Been a thing for decades you can also do it at fire departments a lot of times some girls are raped or it's incest or sometimes they don't even show or dont know they're pregnant it's the alternative to dumping the baby in the trash or leaving it out in the wild. 0 questions are asked

Better than abortion

Let me get this straight. If a woman doesn't want a baby pre birth, she can kill it. After birth, she can drop it at a hospital. If she keeps it and can't afford it, she's given free housing, food, health care, and spending money. Meanwhile, a man has no say if the woman murders his baby. He can't get a test to see if it's his. If he doesn't want the baby, he still needs to support the baby. If not, he gets free housing, food, and health care in prison. Worse patriarchy ever.

So unwanted babies don’t end up in dumpsters and have a shot at a good life

People know that abandoning their child is so wrong, they’re afraid to have to face another person when they do it. For some reason we feel the need to eliminate guilt and shame from society so people can do unspeakable/degenerate things with as little discomfort as possible. What a fallen society we live in.

Too many kids freezing to death after being left on a doorstep or porch of a church or police station, where no one heard the bell or was there. I swear I remember hearing about that from time to time as a kid before these were a thing.
