Two identical stone doorways carved into solid mountainsides sit completely isolated from one another. One is the Urartian Meher Kapısı in Türkiye and the other is Aramu Muru in Peru. Cultures separated by thousands of miles and an ocean somehow arrived at the exact same architectural blueprint for reaching the divine.

Finding yourself at Thanjavur Big Temple on Shivratri by sheer coincidence feels surreal. The towering Brihadeeswarar Temple, turns the night into something truly magical. This majestic architectural masterpiece stands as a testament to the Chola empire’s engineering brilliance. The sheer scale of the temple, its towering vimana, and its carvings speak of an era that pushed the boundaries of architecture and craftsmanship. Some places don’t just tell stories they embody them #ThanjavurBigTemple #CholaArchitecture #TimelessHeritage #shivratri

A baby elephant approached its mother for a snack. The mother elephant promptly split a sugarcane stalk in two and handed a piece to her little one. 🐘❤️ This sweet exchange between mother and calf is simply heartwarming. #FunMoment

THE LUXOR HOTEL (Luxor Hotel & Casino) IN LAS VEGAS IS A SHADOW OF ITS FORMER SELF. ITS DAMN NEAR BEEN COMPLETELY DETHEMED ON THE INSIDE. THERE ARE NO CHECK IN CLERKS ANY MORE AS THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY AUTOMATED KIOSK. THE POOL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. THEY SHUT DOWN ALL THE NIGNTCLUBS INSIDE LONG AGO. BUT I SAW THIS VIDEO AND I WAS LIKE - WOW LOOK AT THIS ARCHITECTURAL MARVEL. THIS BUILDING IS INCREDIBLE AND ITS VERY BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT. SO WHEN I SEE THE LUXOR I TRY TO LOOK AT WHATS GOOD ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE LACKING.

Twin elephant births are extremely rare, occurring in roughly 1% of cases. Elephants are pregnant for about 22 months, and raising even one calf takes a great deal of energy. Supporting two at once is especially demanding in the wild

Look at her face and then look at the way he is standing there acting like he is the boss. Wahab Riaz you are so PATHETIC. You and this absolute joke of a team have done enough damage to her already.

Wait, how is this even possible?!🤯 Look at how smoothly this stone sculpture rotates. No modern tools, no metal ball bearings - just pure, mind-boggling craftsmanship carved straight out of solid stone by ancient Indian artisans. The level of engineering is insane.

We begin a special week of the most spectacular cathedrals and churches in Europe. Activate notifications so you don’t miss any 🛎️ The Sagrada Familia is the unfinished masterpiece of the architect Antoni Gaudí and the maximum exponent of Catalan modernism. This expiatory temple, an indisputable symbol of Barcelona, stands out for its monumentality and for integrating deep Christian symbols and elements inspired by nature. The works began in 1882 and continue today. Its construction is possible thanks to private donations and ticket sales. The Sagrada Familia is the tallest church in the world. The temple officially reached this architectural record after the placement of the final pieces of its great cross this year. The temple is a basilica, not a cathedral. The central tower of Jesus Christ reached its maximum definitive height of 172.5 meters, surpassing the church of Ulm in Germany with its 161.53 meters.
