the tape is moving quickly enough for you to not percieve it, as the tape heads fade from one to the other, the tape has moved far enough for it to not be noticeable

So glad someone has bothered to build one of these, I've wanted to since I read Wendy Carlos article about using something similar for Hal's voice in 2001. Would be interested to hear how it sounds in a feedback loop :)
