If you need visuals for your elevator pitch, it's crap. I get that's the point but it's not really a joke it's just Brian should have got run over again.

Word of advice, be VERY careful when pitching idea's to creators/writers. even if they dont like it, one day they'll end up using the idea but not remember or realize it was someone else's. thinking they came up with it by themselves. it has happened.

the trick to world building is treating your characters and setting like a kid playing with their toys, then injecting yourself with the entire knowledge of literature so that you can use the language to gaslight your readers into thinking the story is serious

I remember attending a writing seminar and one piece of advice they gave for countering "Worldbuilder's Disease" is to open a separate document then ask yourself; "Is this detail relevant to my plot or character development?" If the answer is "No"; Into the other Doc it goes
