It's much easier than this damn thing.

You have to unlock this first

Wait until you unplug automotive connectors

This is (or was) worse:

Every time I dissasemble my PC to replace the thermal paste (or deep cleaning) I fell I'm gonna snap the motherboard trying to unplug this mf.

I swear board manufacturers enjoy putting those 24 pin connectors in the most obnoxious spots... I'm all for a nice tight fit...makes for good connectivity...but damn some of those act like they generate adhesive to make sure they never come unplugged...

Most plugs on cars be like

Finally plugged in.

😅 I got pretty good at the 'gently rocking back n' forth' method, but it was never comfortable.

Its pretty simple. Here instruction: 1. Don't be a moron and pull on the cables 2. Push the release notch 3. Pull socket left side a litle 4. Pull socket right side a litle 5. repeat 3 & 4 until done Thank me later. 🤡

Close enough

Yeah, it has a locking latch on it for a reason.

Disconnect the locking mechanism and then wiggle (carefully).

Tell me you are not PC specialist without telling me

if it feels like that, then you are doing it wrong.

To have a reliable aged 24pin plug better than having a fancy new plug that will burn the mboard. You know what I mean. 😉

Connecting this on your first try was even worse

I can feel your pain bro.

you don't pull it, you WIGGLE it!

@wil_der_

nah this.

ffs 😂

Whoever designed it is a going to hell, I'm always worried i will pull the port off the motherboard.

You do release the latch before pulling it out????

Diz a lenda que só os dignos conseguem remover esse cabo

Try a switch with 48 ports🤭

Ayni amk anakarta zarar vermeden cikattmakkk olummmmm

@reefowow

It's all in the wrist

skill issue

@Capazz12 Aquele dia

The 1st time I was taking my pc apart for swapping a PSU... Felt the same feeling... Like I was going to pull the whole socket out of the motherboard... But at the end... I just had to press the clip a little bit harder for it to release 😅

There’s no way people actually struggle with this
