Landed in Johannesburg this morning, but yoh, what a ride from London. I have been flying for decades, but BA057 made me think I was about to join the ancestors last night. I laughed to myself and thought how people would have been praying in tongues had it been an African airline 🤣🤣🤣 The Airbus A380 is meant to be steady because of its sheer size, but last night it felt like I was on a small aircraft being tossed around in the sky. The turbulence was on another level, relentless and unsettling even for a seasoned traveller like me.

Every generation, in its youth, thinks it has discovered corruption, inequality, and hypocrisy for the first time. Young people have always been anti-establishment, idealistic, angry at institutions, and convinced they can build a perfect utopia. Watching this video of South African police beating up a motorist for getting in the way of a Blue Lights VIP convoy today reminded me of how Zimbabwe started collapsing into a heap of an undesirable State! It all started with citizens losing their rights like this with the application of violence, then it got worse. Would have loved to see South Africa’s exceptionalism become a reality, but sadly it wasn’t mean to be. Welcome to Africa! Thankfully there was NO Zimbabwean involved! This is sad, nobody should ever celebrate South Africa loosening its grip on constitutionalism because it can get worse in our little villages outside Africa!

What does it look like to actually clean up your neighborhood? We started by clearing trash from the busy bus stops, and a few young people passing by stepped in to help. We also spoke with a local Army veteran who now works at Amazon, briefly talking about current events and how they affect people here at home. Then we moved to a recently cleared homeless encampment that had been left in unsafe conditions. We removed buckets of human waste, collected used needles, and hauled away a massive amount of trash.

Just finished the Attack on Titan Crossover quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows. My jaw dropped during this cutscene, not due to how amazing it was but how bad it was. I'd say this is the most low-effort I've seen that has been put into a Ubisoft game, nothing screamed interesting about this quest and when you finally get to face a titan, you're just running away from it until its trapped underground and that's it, nothing happens. You don't win anything except for a promotion of new cosmetics that cost around $20. I wasted 30 minutes of my life completing this so you don't have to endure this

When Insurance Was Worth More Than Black Lives One day in 1781, a slave ship's crew threw over 100 Africans overboard to a watery death in the Atlantic Ocean, not by accident, but because British law allowed it, insurance covered it and 143 Africans deaths was an acceptable investment into an insurance scam. The Zong massacre may have taken place over 240 years ago in 1781, but it remains a clear reflection of how the Global North has always valued African lives both historically and to date. Our beautiful Zaaki has run his last race and will now begin his retirement as a happy, healthy horse. To his owners, thank you for the amazing memories that we have shared with you over the years cheering him home. We have a serious problem with young men in this country. Questioning things is good. Everyone should question things but in their zeal to get to the truth they started listening to voices who question things as a business model, not an exercise to learn the truth. He’s not even smart enough to understand that Jewish American citizens aren’t foreign. Do I think he’s a Jew hater? Probably not. I think he’s been brainwashed by a group of insidious bad actors who have adopted the leftist victimhood culture under the fake auspices of uncovering hidden knowledge. While none of it is actually hidden, and all of it has been around since the dawn of time. Teaching young men to be victim is a very dangerous thing. And we’re gonna have to figure out how to course correct.
