Depend on the mother tangue of the student. A Polish guy can learn Ukrainian pretty fast. Or a Dutch to learn Afrikaans. Or a Slovak to learn Czech. Or a Croatian to "learn" Serbian.

What’s your criteria for??? This is dumb…. How hard another language is to learn depends on what your native language is

Not surprised that Chinese (Mandarin) is number one. However, depending on what your native language is, learning a similar one can be quite easy and take less time. And if you’re using an app like Praktika that has a tutor you can work with any time. Can also speed up the process

It's pretty easy to learn English grammar, however, learning its phonetics is another story. 🙄

こういう統計はあてにならない。 なぜなら、学習者が、現在どの言語を使っているか?によるから。 例えば、韓国人が日本語を学ぶ場合とアメリカ人が日本語を学ぶ場合では難易度が違う。

It's wrong, children start speaking any language in less than a year 😉

Hours to learn is a bad metric because it depends on what languages the student already speaks. Quite good metric is the age of a kid when it reaches full command of their mother tongue.
