Yes it was very confusing as a child , teen… Friends of. My parents would return on holidays to the UK ( from oz) in the 1970s… white…. In the early 90s by boss was recruiting Australians into Europe “ high tech”…. And they were Asian…. As an innocent 20 something year old I was must admit I was confused at the time….🙈😔🤔
