How Lucifer treated Charlie when she failed at something Vs how Charlie treated him when he failed at something 💔💔💔

Season 2 is a reminder that Charlie is Lilith's daughter

Charlie after starting a war with heaven Vs Charlie after her dad tried to stop Vox from starting a war with heaven

Charlie only reconnected with him to get sponsorship for the hotel with Heaven and it's reeeeally obvious she doesn't care about him in the slightest. There's no way this scene is indictive of a healthy relationship between the two.

This is an incredible dishonest framing of these two situations. A more accurate description would be “How Lucifer treated Charlie when she failed at something that didn’t affect him” vs “How Charlie treated him when he made a bad situation worse for HER”

Lucifer just got off the high of fighting Adam vs Charlier Morningstar had the worst week of all time to her, all while doing wrong decisions and alone. Being wrong can make you pissy, trust me, I know.

Not to be a hater but Charlie kinda sucked in the second season sooo yeah checks out

He neglected her for nearly a decade This is probably repressed anger

are we deadass, two uncomparable situations

It’s not a child’s job to be always forgiving of their parent. Also, shes been neglected for years and his mistake DIRECTLY impacted her life.

Luci is supposed to be trying to rebuild the relationship with his daughter. And Charlie has every right to be mad if her absent dad, comes back only recently, and messes up her dream project. Of course Luci is the better person here, but Charlie has every right to her feelings

No way! A Dad is more mature than their sheltered child? Also the magnitude is a bit different. Charlie's hotel was destroyed by Adam and she felt bad for Sir Pent. Lucifer botched a threat so badly it kinda led to the War in Heaven (from Charlie's perspective)

Charlie is written terribly in season 2. Didn't learn a thing in season 1. Viv made Lucifer useless. He comes bombastically and then just gets pushed by the way side. All Charlie really wants is her Mom. Lucifer was a means to an end to go to Heaven and then... nothing.

Okay but Lucifer’s moment was during an AFTERMATH of everything Charlie’s moment was in the MIDDLE of everything

Lets see, she is very impulsive, naive, a bit immature, still in the middle of spiraling, and she did repeatedly after that blow up try to contact him to apologize so she realized it was wrong for her to do that

The two have kinda always had a weird relationship tbh. He ofc kinda had it coming after neglecting her, but she’s also hella hypocritical for being all about redemption only to turn around and blast someone for making a mistake.

You can really see Charlie is the daughter of Pride Sin lol Her own pride blinded her and hurt her gf and dad. She's young immature, no wonder but it's not an excuse,it was her fault all cause she didn't listen to Vaggie. Also she didn't apologize to her father in the last episode

to be fair he kinda abandoned her for a good chunk of her life and never really appoligized

You gyatt to be kidding me. Charlie sucks

This right here! Still find it so weird with how fast Charlie’s emotions flipped

Lucifer tries to be a good father for his daughter Charlie. But for Charlie it's like she doesn't understand how he tried to help. Lucifer your not a bad dad you try and that's all you can do

Grown ass man btw

Charlie because so insufferable in season 2

Ok, HE DIDN'T FAIL, HE JUST MADE A POOR DECISION, SHE HAS A RIGHT TO BE ANGRY, CAN YA'LL STOP HATING CHARLIE BY STATING THE MOST INCORRECT INFO EVER

Yeah Lucifer deserves a massive apology from Charlie, when all he did was try to help her after all her screw ups

Except it wasn't really Lucifer's fault that Vox declared war . He was planning to declare war from the beginning. Lucifer showing up did nothing but give him ammo. But if he hadn't shown up at all nothing would have changed. You could take his part out and it plays no different.

Let's be honest, Lucifer threatening Vox was bound to backfire one way or another

Even in retrospect, i dunno how she could even blame Lucifer, either way Vox was gonna spin it wether or not he was there or the angels

plus lucifer didn't even make the situation worse, i felt like it would've gone the same way if he wasn't there why did she put ALL the blame on him?

He's her estranged father btw, they are JUST starting to rebuild their relationship.

one of these is a father comforting their daughter the other is a daughter being rightfully mad at their father for doing nothing but helping someone against her granted even if luci did show up i doubt things would have gone better, but it makes sense for charlie to be mad

They made Charlie impulsive, immature, so naive that's not surprised for Viv self insert herself as Charlie.

Lucifer was the scapegoat. Charlie invited vox, chose to go on his show, thought that gift baskets would be enough for vox, and much more. Lucifer did 1 thing that likely didn't actually damage the rep of the hotel. He sacrificed his own reputation there.
