How lucky we are to hear howls 🐺❤️

When I was a kid I was told they howl because they were lonely. So I would pray for them to have a friend.

I heard a pack of wolves howling loudly nonstop around 3 to 4 am in the morning outside our hotel room in Tahoe city. I have been following wolf conservancy story in CA, so I knew it is rare. It turns out South Tahoe had large fire in the forest and wolves were warning human.

They speak to my soul. 🐺🐾

Often it sounds sad, a warning, and then tones are all smiles. PROTECT OUR WOLVES.

And, believe it or not, Tibetan Terrier is one of the closest genetic relatives to the wolf of all dog breeds. Mine doesn't howl though - does yours? #TibetanTerrier
