The brainwashing of the good kind, as I call it! When it was not acceptable to talk of divisions in polite company. To manage to do this so soon after the carnage of the Partition (my parents are both refugees but the lesson they never taught us was of division), all kudos to our leaders And the pledge we used to recite every morning in the school India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. ... To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion. In their well-being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.

How long have you been in each country?

@basu_smarajit used to no longer

@basu_smarajit 🥲

Ah! The 80s & 90s. We didn't learn as many languages as the nutters think we should compulsorily learn, but we knew every line in every language of this & 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara'. These & 'Light of Freedom' (Torch relay by sportspersons) were absolute gems. Kids now have no idea.

Now all we see are National division videos

Shut up Punit. You and @NirjhariSinha have dumped him on us !

🙏 Gone are those good old golden days. India was not affluent but was rich in every way. 😊

Mesmerizing nostalgia. DD excelled in creating those unifying videos. Goosebumps every time we see and hear

Shall we ... .... ... ...? Ever ...??

Most of these artistes, if alive today, would chant modi modi, moment ANI camera ws visible. power ke aage sab jhukega sala
