Democrats were the slave owners, and they are still trying to hold blacks back and keep them on the Democrat plantation. Blacks have realized it and voted for Trump in record numbers.

Grok says: At the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861, the Republican Party, founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party, had very few members who owned slaves. In the 36th Congress (1859–1861), which met just before the war, a Washington Post analysis found that the Republicans, emerging as the party of abolition, had only one slaveholder among their ranks. This contrasts with nearly 100 slaveholders among Democrats, including those in Democratic splinter groups, despite the two parties having roughly equal numbers in Congress. While exact numbers for all Republicans nationwide are harder to pin down, estimates suggest that out of approximately 4 million enslaved people in the U.S. in 1860, only a tiny fraction—potentially around 10 to a dozen—were owned by individuals affiliated with the Republican Party. This reflects the party’s strong Northern base, where slavery was largely abolished, and its opposition to the expansion of slavery into Western territories. Any slaveholding Republicans were likely outliers, possibly in border states or with complex personal histories, but comprehensive data on every individual Republican’s status is not fully documented.

None were Republican especially since the Republican Party was created with the purpose of abolishing slavery

None. The Republican Party was created by abolitionists in 1854 specifically to end slavery. In fact, 9 of its 11 planks were calling for the end of slavery.
