My brother did this, he was taken back home and was given a folk jembe and tagged to the shamba. Alilima hiyo siku akitandikwa. Like ushindwe na shule na pia kulima. He had to chose one. The following day tulimpata shule. My fathers home was not for idle people.

Hahaha, most firstborns start off school like this mostly because they have not seen any other person attend school in their households. My Mother had to use threats and the cane to keep me going to school😂

Sensitisation starts at home and in good time. If the parents got him pencils and papers to scribble stuff and talked about what he will be doing at school, the boy would be running to that school😂😂😂

Not me, running away from shamba and domestic chores. School was a holiday for me

I started school by following my sister to class

Mimi hapa 🤣. My grandma was faster than I could run.

Truly speaking am here. I remember one morning dad took me to school after realising my notorious behaviour of running away now and again and I did it, I managed to run away while holding talks with my class teacher of my amok behaviour in school. I frustrated him🤣🤣

I can relate. For me, a whole class had to do a chase.

I can relate. Kwanza for me I was so chaotic until nikafungiwa kwa the Principal's office ndio my mum aende🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣

I still remember running away from Mrs Kimani. One of my earliest childhood memories .
