I saw one of our neighbors, who had difficulty moving due to rheumatism, and they shot him in the feet. Then they took him away, claiming they were going to treat him. After that, because I was a nurse, they brought the injured to the mosque for treatment, even though they claimed they were taking them to the hospital. One of the family members was a doctor. I saw five of their injuries with my own eyes, all of them children. Then they made successive promises that they would release us that same day. The guards who escorted us were respectful. In a recent interview with Press Box PR, Raphaël Colantonio, the founder of Arcane Studios, shared his experience of working with Valve on the cancelled Half-Life 2 expansion called "Return to Ravenholm": “It took us a decade to move on from the pain of the Ravenholm project because we were incredibly excited about doing that game and we put in a lot of creative energy into it and eventually when the decision was made to cut it, we did not understand it as it happened. We were young and we were just refusing to see the reality of the situation and the reality was much simpler than the way it looked to us. It all came down to the economics behind Half Life 2 and how the DLCs were selling. They had a business ratio between how much they could spend and how they could make it to be worth it to them because it takes the attention of the entire structure on their side. They had tried to create something internally and then they had tried with an external team already in America but it did not work out because they were too expensive so they worked with us because they liked our work and we worked with them during that time. They thought, you know, why not try these guys? We seemed pretty effective and eventually, like the two other attempts that they had looked at, we went somewhere with it, and it was cool. What we had was really, really cool. But it still needed more time, and too much time to finish. Beyond it being cool there was a business call at some point where it was decided that it didn’t really make sense. It was very painful for us but it made sense, we grew up and got a little bit more mature about it.”

We were over almost 70% Christians when we got our independence in the 40s. But because of the way Muslims multiply, you know, with the multiple wives and multiple kids, in 30 years they became the majority. Once they became the majority, they were no longer tolerant of the people who took them in and accepted them and included them in the country. They felt they were not a part of the country. The homeowner paid to have a new roof installed, the roofing company gave them a good deal on the price and got to work. When they finished ahead of schedule, the homeowner claimed they didn’t have the money for the roof so the roofers came back and put holes in the brand new roof, was this justified or is it vandalism? I would do the same since they didn’t pay a dime for materials. I used to help out with my friend’s landscaping business in the summer during college break. We arrived at some fancy house on a few acres. They mapped out what they wanted done and we did it. They even said we did a good job but still refused to pay because they claimed they didn’t like the shade of rocks we used even though they are the ones who picked them out. We even picked up the rocks for them at the business they wanted the rocks from. It took us about three days to do the work not to mention my friend paid for the materials up front expecting to be paid back when the customer paid us for the job so we went back and undid everything, my friend even cut down some of their bushes out of anger which was wrong on his part but can you blame him? I am willing to bet most people would do the same. They called the cops on us but the police said it was a civil matter but did tell us to leave and we did.

Thoughts on $CPRT valuation and buybacks "Right now, it's at one of its cheapest valuations it's been at in decades. So, they have some four-ish billions of dollars of cash on the balance sheet, so you back that out and the interest expense associated with that, and it's trading around 16 to 17 times earnings. So one of the cheapest valuations they've had. They've also been extremely selective when they've bought back stock. So they do not regularly buy back stock, but when they do, they make it meaningful, and they're very selective on the valuation, and last quarter was the first time they really bought back a meaningful slug of stock. They bought back $1.4 billion. As I mentioned, they still have another four-ish billions of dollars in cash on their balance sheet, so I would expect them to extinguish a good amount of that cash. Even if they do have to invest more in operations and all that, they should still have plenty of ability to do both. And so that's pretty interesting in terms of a signal because, again, this is not a company that regularly buys back stock. In fact, the last time they really were buyers of their stock was in 2019, but they haven't bought back a big amount of stock since 2011. So it's been that long since they've really taken a good slug of their common shares and retired that. So, that to me is a signal, and take that for what it's worth."

Be careful with hospital. Recently went to the ER of one of these "non profits" & they asked for my insurance card, I said I didn't have it & apparently they had one on file from several years ago that she said they could use. I went to a different hospital 4 yrs ago. I never signed their general consent form nor did my husband so how can they bill us? Both of us were able to sign but I asked for a print out & was actually reading & signing what I consented to when they came in with the discharge papers. How is this not insurance fraud on the hospitals part?

Me and my mates caused this: We turned up at their wedding uninvited and started fighting with the guests and they had the cheek to tell us to leave because we were ruining their wedding when it was only a few of us and not everyone. Then they tried to lock the doors. But we held them open while more came in. We didn’t like the music either so we made the DJ to swerve the Motown and play some techno to suit us. It was an all inclusive bar and a free buffet so we stayed to the end even though we didn’t like it there. I just wanted to call the family out and tell you all how intolerant they were to us. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome. We had just as much of a right to be there as anyone else. It was a public building. They don’t own it. I’m sure you will all agree that the family were bang out of order. We only ruined their wedding the crying cnts. Horrible people.

💔🇵🇸😭Dear friends, last night was horrible. It was the worst night so far. We were ordered to leave. But how could we leave? We can't bring the cats and where would we go? We heard people were killed when they left their house. We are terrified and no option is a good one. So we stayed. We don't dare to really go outside, just stay near our house. We fed the cats, my friends, because I needed to distract my children. I don't want them to know I fear for our lives. I needed to pretend that everything will be alright. So I told them to help me feed our cats. I can't believe they still had an appetite but they did. My friends, pray for us. We are so scared. We need you so much right now. Thank you for staying with us, for being there for us. We are so sad, so scared and so devastated. 💔 🫂 🐈

When Wyatt Claypool and I invited the Turtle Island-Rainbow activists to join Dallas Brodie's townhall, they were very surprised. After all, they did call us racists, Nazis, and subhuman, didn't they? "Will you really welcome us in?" Of course! And we did. A few went inside. I commend them for sitting and listening. After the townhall ended, two of them approached me and said: "Just like we thought, it's all misinformation!" I asked what specifically they disagreed with. They refused to clarify, scoffed, and left.
