You could literally do any dot line pattern into any letter

That’s not how Morse code works. That’s is quite possibly the worst way to learn it.

My father taught me some morse code when I was a kid. I still remember how do my name and a few other words. A lost language/art.

I don’t think this makes any sense. There is no certain pattern that makes me understand that the Morse code is based on the alphabetical shape

Seems like you are just trying to fit the code somehow in those letters.

Thanks for noticing. Some of the comments are very unfair implying that you think this is how the Morse code was designed. You know that's not true, and this is a clever way of remembering some of them. I still remember some of my Morse code but the ones I remember are the ones where I could do something like you did such as B and D. Some are more of a stretch.

That’s more confusing than just memorizing dots

That's NOT how it works. The codes are arranged so the commonest letters use the shortest codes. That's it. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with the shape of the capital letters.

In my country we have a system for this based on grammar. Our syllables are long and short. Hyphenation corresponds to one Morse code character So it was easy for us Long syllable - Long line Short syllable - Dot It was enough to learn the auxiliary words

That is far from helpful. Just put any line or dot wherever you want on any letter! Not how I learnt Morse anyway.

The reason E is simply a dot is because it’s the most common letter in the alphabet, so it should have the fastest code

Learning Morse Code this way is akin to learning to speak modern english by reading Shakespeare.

This is not how it works. There is not a single piece of logic in it. It’s just drawing symbols into letters. The logic in morse code works differently. Just ask your grok for the motivation, why Morse created the code. That is a good story.

Such a waste of time. It's like any other code where you just learn the symbols and what they represent. That's it.
