@JackPittBrooke What is not taken into consideration is the squad rebuild at spurs where high earners have so far been replaced by young talent. But yes spurs need to increase the salary ceiling per player to be more competitive.

@JackPittBrooke That list of wage spent is incorrect. Man Utd is much lower than 3rd and actually closer to Spurs based on the Uefa reports and accounts of teams. Where's their source on wages spent?

@JackPittBrooke This is currently - summer of 2024 was a cull, so at present the squad is thin. Surely the longer term plan is to have a bigger squad with the player Ange wants, which will be another 3/4 players on decent wages. Once you add them it will be a lot closer, phase imo
