How much longer will it be until no one remembers the original version of Pirates of the Caribbean? Johnny Depp is in every version now, but most of the OG version still exists in this one park!

We kind of wish they totally changed it to something completely new, if it had to change, instead of the sort of nonsensical thing it became.

I don't approve of Depp being added to the attraction at all. There was a soft cover PoC book that documented the original attraction as it was built, ditto for the PoC LP album released on the Disneyland label; it had a built-in booklet also documenting the original attraction.

I think we’d all be ecstatic if the next CEO came out & said something to the effect of: “We have decided to honor our heritage and the legacy of Walt, the imagineers and all who made this company what it was. We are reinstating the DL & WDW attractions to their pre-1983 state.”
