HOW MUCH MANA DOES SHE HAVE TO PULL SOMETHING LIKE THIS?!

HOW DO YOU EVEN SURVIVE THIS?!!

IS SHE SERIOUS? ASKING HER IF SHE'S ALRIGHT AFTER ALMOST EVAPORATING HER??? 😭

Ah yes, the famous Nanoha art of befriending

Remember, this is still considered MID in this befriending scale. Spoilers inbound.

The thing about Starlight Breaker is that it doesn't just use Nanoha's mana, but also the residual mana around her, so, yeah, SB is just a giant mana recycle process. Also, if you think that's bad, can't wait till you see what's coming next.

Without spoiling anything, mages on Nanoha's and Fate's level of power are treated as strategic weapons by the TSAB

Starlight Breaker isn't actually a result of her mana. It's a result of all the mana that's been scattered into the air after a heavy battle being gathered into one point, allowing for you to create an insane level of power without using much of your own

WELCOME TO HOW NANOHA BEFRIENDS PEOPLE!

@XavierofRed Starlight Breaker is a bombardment spell that becomes more powerful the later in battle it's used since it gathers all the residual magic left over from prior spells in the area and focuses that into a magic beam so dense it just instantly breaks all magic barriers it touches.

Recycling. She takes in all the mana scattered by prior attacks (hers and others)

She was just "befriending her"

The movie version is cinema

Nanoha: “-And that’s how I met my wife.”

In the Nanoha universe, the magical girls are adorable WMDs.

TAKAMACHI. NANOHA. IS. A. GUNDAM.

The attack power of Starlight Breaker is about the sum of the mana consumed by Nanoha and Fate during battle. Incidentally, in Nanoha's world, mana damage can be set, so it is possible to perform attacks that are painful but not fatal.

According to As the Comics (the prologue/in-between/epilogue manga for As. StrikerS has this as well),it confirms she's just different. Afaik, it is never brought up again.

She's extremely skilled at concentrating magical energy, gathering it from those around her. Her motto, 「全力全開」（"Full Power, Full Throttle"） is something she applies even in magical battles. Thanks in part to the device she uses to support her, the "Raging Heart," She's been nicknamed 「魔砲少女」（"Magic Cannon Girl"） by fans. Donna Park, the voice actress for Raging Heart, also provides the voices for: - English announcements for the Tokaido, Sanyo, Kyushu, and Nishikyushu Shinkansen lines - Characters from the "Silent Hill" video game series
