Truly a “what-if” type of career. A rookie WR being locked in with Brady is nothing to scoff at. Truly think he woulda had a long productive career in the NFL.

How long have you been in each country?

The first half decent WR they drafted since Deion Branch in 2002 (Edelman was a 7th rd shot in the dark, pure luck) and his career was cut short. An absolute travesty.

A real travesty

And to make things worse by all accounts he’s a genuinely good person who deserved to have a solid career.

O F T E N. He was such a great, clutch player. His injury right from pre-season hurt him out of the gate. Felt like he could have been an excellent player for a long time.

My wife and I were at that game in San Fran. Rained the whole time and I did not care. TB12 threw 4 TDs, great day.

For sure, so clutch. I can’t remember which game, but he took a shot to the knee that looked like it bent in half. Came back in the game. I literally said out loud he’s a gift from God.

We’ll always remember how clutch he was in that Super Bowl v Atlanta plus he wore my favourite jersey number, 19, right after Brandon LaFell who was another really good receiver for us!

One of the lone rookie wr to get into Brady’s circle of trust.

Not often, but funny enough, I did just the other day. I understand he's writing children's books and is literacy advocate now.

I loved that guy. So sad that he had a career ending injury.

That call by Greg gumbel reminds of that game against Carolina when JC Jackson got a pick 6 & he was like “THIS IS JUSTIN BETHEL” lol

Must have been a real bad injury , never came back

He's the perfect litmus test for Patriots fans who know football and for those who are just bandwagoning. He's underrated and has a pretty fantastic trajectory of the injuries have cut his career short. Plus, he is (by all accounts) an awesome person.

Very often. That’s why I love what Ladd is doing, but these guys with huge injury flags give me the chills because of Malcom. Such huge what ifs.

I was at that game. Honestly, had he been able to stay healthy he would have been very good. Still made some big catches in the Super Bowl.
