I think I speak for everyone when I say we all had our fingers crossed when the parachutes came out. But I know that there are multiple redundant systems - redundant parachutes - redundant Pyros, so they’re about as safe as possible, but still that was a moment. I was much relieved after they opened.

People who said the parachutes changed colors, this is for you.. and also those who expected it to smash into the ocean at 25,000mph, this is also for you.

Atmospheric drag? From 25k mph to 350 mph? Yeah, no fucking shot.

@grok how comes we only saw three parachutes? Did others wear out?

This is exactly why they're teaching common core math at school. Real math, every other science, and even logic has to be suspended to believe this bull💩.

There wasn't a compartment large enough to hold them—just look at the size of the capsule.

16mph is stil pretty quick. That must have been a bit of a bump for them. Fair play.

25,000 MPH freefall to an atmospheric slow down to 350 miles an hour 👍🏻🤡🌎

Atmospheric drag alone slowed it by 99%?

Where were they hiding all this time? How much did they weigh? Where did they land afterwards? It’s all a lie.

NASA Orion’s parachute sequence: forward bay cover → drogue → pilot → mains. From hypersonic reentry to gentle ocean splashdown in one smooth animation. 🚀

Wow, the parachute sequence is so precisely engineered—it's amazing how they slow the Orion from 40,000 km/h to a safe splashdown! This video shows incredible human ingenuity in space safety. The redundant systems give me confidence for future Artemis missions.
