Compounding pharmacists, yes (did this 4 years) Retail pharmacists, no (been here 19 years)

Wow that seems extremely sketchy. The doses are not going to be even because the compaction on each pod will be different. There is no way to tell each pod gets a proper dose. I assumed this was done by machines using accurate and sensitive measuring devices. This seems like how a strete drug dealer would divide their stash to sell.

I worked as a druggist assistant for four years and never saw anything like that.

That's the work of a compounding pharmacist, and custom meds like that are incredibly rare.

Educated drug dealers

Not all pharmacies. Most can’t do this, only specially licensed pharmacies known as compounding pharmacies can and it requires special equipment, training and much stricter regulations than the standard retail one. These are very very rare.

I used to be a pharmacy technician. We used a small thin spatula and a tray. We dumped the tablets out on the tray, and counted by 5 until we reached the prescription total. Then you slide it over to the little tube and dump it into the pill container for the patient.

Compounding. It's good for people who know how to mix real medication and supplements
