How pharmacy tablets are counted

Okay but how will you count in this prescription? 💀

I’ve worked in pharmacy for 8 years. I have NEVER counted medication this way

that assumes all tablets are the same size? lol

No pharmacy uses this

Triangular Numbers. n(n+1)/2

They don’t have these in pharmacies 😂 there’s 1000s of different pills this counting goes off soon as you get a different pill size or pill shape. There’s capsules, tabs, gels, etc this triangle would be a waste of space on a pharmacy table.

Must have been doing wrong during my 30+ years in pharmacy because never used one of those

This is absolutely not how tablets are counted in a pharmacy. I’ve worked in pharmacy since I was 14 and never once counted anything this way

Seems like a slow way to do it
