Mayor Katie Wilson in an extended interview with KOMO News reiterated that she’s not asking for a change in drug possession laws, and the Seattle Police Department is still understaffed. Joaquin Phoenix has been vegan since he was three and a half years old. Theo Von was telling him how he’s been fasting, just water with a pinch of salt in his hand, and still sometimes going to the gym. He mentioned doing 36-hour fasts, aiming for a 24-hour one about once a week, and that his longest so far was 73 hours. Joaquin looked genuinely concerned and gently advised, “Maybe look into that… working out at the gym while fasting. I remember doing that and I didn’t feel good.” A really caring, human moment between two very different guys. Long fasts can boost fat burning and growth hormone, but working out (especially intensely) while fasted carries risks like dehydration, dizziness, muscle loss, and slower recovery. Light activity is often fine, but heavy sessions are usually smarter before or after the fast. What’s one health or diet experiment you’ve tried that surprised you, good or bad?

I wish I knew how they did this, because it's a total mystery to me. There's no way I can figure out how they seem to plan and know what the end product will be. I guess some people are blessed with that kind of mind & imagination... But I am sure not one of them.

I know a lot of you have been enjoying the food content, but I want to be straight with you about something. After my competition, I didn’t just “treat myself.” I went into a full post show binge spiral which is pretty common after a first show, but still brutal to go through. It wasn’t just this one fun meal. It turned into days of overeating, chasing dopamine from food, and completely losing control. Over the next few posts, you’ll see exactly what I ate after this… what I tried to do to stop the spiral… and where I ended up because of it. I want to show you the REALITY of competing.. Both mentally and physically.. And how fast your body can change in such a short amount of time. This was my first season of shows, and I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Today im 800 days sober, sobriety has given me the best year of my life this year and I want to share it with you. This year I’ve sold out 49 shows to over 30,000 people on my stand up comedy tour, set up and opened a gym, a comedy club, podcast studio & restaurant, set up and official charity, became happier, given lots of people jobs, become healthier and fitter and welcomed a brand new baby into our family. I wanted to share that change is possible and how much just 1 year of focus can change your life. I really hope this reaches the right person and inspires some positive change. Upon the conclusion of my visit to #Washington and my participation in the Delphi Forum, I had the opportunity to meet with the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Mr. Pete Hegseth, in the presence of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Mr. Elbridge Colby. During the meeting, I had the chance to explain the Greek positions on a broad range of regional issues, the strategic challenges we face, as well as the effort to reform the Hellenic Armed Forces under “Agenda 2030”. I also referred to a series of defence contracts signed with the United States, including the acquisition of F-35 aircraft, and discussed how these contracts will be implemented in the best possible way for the Hellenic Armed Forces. Finally, I extended an invitation to the Secretary to visit Greece and we will be happy to welcome him; to my recollection, US Secretary of Defence visits to our country are rare. It’s truly an incredible sight watching an AI agent self-navigate the XRP Ledger and provide me data analysis or push transactions right to my Joey Wallet Tasks that require the usage of multiple platforms or steps become as simple as a single prompt And you never even have to leave your Joey Wallet 🤝 I believe we are only at the very beginning of how AI agents will entirely change the way we interact with blockchain. The crisis in our politics in Kenya is that we have a heavy chunk of of an aging generation who suffers from nostalgia of the days gone by. When we were young, we lived in council estates that had taps running and organic kitchen gardens to grow home food. An orphaned child would be taken care of by the extended family, and watched over by the larger society. The nostalgia that permeates much of today's Kenya is no accident. We have lost faith in the future that once powered our optimism. We fight over what we have instead of what we can grow together. I recommend the mind-blowing book 'Abundance', by Derek Thompson and Ezra Klein. It will change your life.
