There's nothing romantic being a slave. When kids were little, I often felt so overwelmed by the amount of work I was doing. Luckily I don't have to sell stuff and I have comfrotable job, but what this woman is doing is sad and heroic. And totally unfair to her.

Why would any women choose this? And why are we angry at them for revolting this life? Let them choose their own destiny like men

Men are okay with women doing unpaid or low wage labor. Men are not okay with men doing unpaid or low wage labor. Men refuse to work as a fruit picker for low wages when he could be earning more. A man is happy for a woman to do difficult, demanding low wage work.

This is coming from an American perspective but: I’ve never been married (never saw the appeal) but a lot of ppl saw me as a “trad mom”. I cooked (from scratch), cleaned & took care of kids as part of a communal household. (I’m also a woke libtard Marxist lol.) I didn’t do it for any ideological reason but bc I wanted to take care of my own kid & this was the only way I could afford it. (It’s so much labor.) The trade off of being able to breastfeed & be with my kid was I worked without pay. Fortunately I come from a family that recognized that it’s still work. Feminism is about having the choice. To work an outside job or do the unpaid work of raising children. What’s taken the choice away is capitalism. In the 70’s both parents started to have work in order for them to retain a lifestyle that used to only require one parent working. But the powers that be want you to blame anyone but them. They took our choice but hide behind whatever group they’ve determined will be a good scapegoat. There are so many levels to this. The propaganda that being a housewife & caretaker is somehow idealic, along with worsening material conditions. It amuses me bc they want to make women yearn for this life, but bc of an adherence to capitalism, won’t make any changes that would allow women to live that life.

My biggest accomplishment in life will always be not having kids. I'm so proud of myself I can barely contain it. It's the only thing that makes me feel "better than" the next person. No matter how many stupid things I do, at least I didn't do that.

You don't really have a choice. Most people have to cook, clean and look after their children. Most people also have to work while doing all of that. A man ALLOWING a woman to stay home is a huge luxury especially in this economy.
